My family and I had an amazing time at the Fontainebleau! The weather was perfect and the view from every room in the suite was absolutely breathtaking. I was debating on getting the smaller room but this one was perfect for my family of 4. The washer/dryer and full kitchen made the 5 day trip so much more convenient. Having 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us allowed us to spend more time on the beach or at the one of many pools. My youngest especially enjoyed the water slide at the kids pool. I read they will be adding a full waterpark for the kids sometime next year.
The only real negative about the trip was the cleanliness of the room. It was very dirty. I didn’t bother mentioning it to the host because this kind of seems to be the norm even at the best hotels in Miami Beach from what I hear. I had family staying at other high end hotels at the same time and they all had the same cleanliness issue. And it just seemed easier for me to clean it myself with Lysol wipes instead of complaining. The next guests shouldn’t have this issue after I deep cleaned lol.
One tip would be to avoid the elevators and the front desk during check in/check out hours. Plan to arrive/leave early or late to avoid the frustration. We arrived at 6pm and left at 4:30am and had no issues but other people leaving at 11-12 had a terrible time getting down to the lobby and then had to wait on a long line to check out.
Despite that, we loved our time at the Fontainebleau and still give it an overall 10/10
