Zunächst wollte der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption uns ein anderes Zimmer geben, aber die Supervisorin lehnte dies im Hintergrund ab, wir konnten mithören. So erhielten wir das Zimmer 210, hinter dessen dicken Wandvorhang, wie es sich herausstellte, kein klassisches Fenster, sondern hinter der Scheibe ein mit einer Art Militärcammouflage bezogener Lüftungsschacht befand. Es war komplett dunkel, es gab kein Tageslicht. Obwohl wir die Klimaanlage im Zimmer abstellten, war ein permanentes störendes rauschen/brummen, durch den, nach Aussage der Rezeption, direkt vorm Fenster aussenliegenden großen Klimagenerator für das gesamte Haus zu hören. Man fühlte sich wie in einem gekühlten Maschinenraum. Wir reklamierten das Zimmer bereits, aber der Mitarbeiter sagte uns, das Hotel sei ausgebucht und bot uns leider nur kostenloses Frühstück an. Von einem 4,5 Sterne Hotel einer renommierten Kette hätten wir niemals gedacht, dass solche Zimmer überhaupt angeboten werden. Dieses hätten wir niemals, erst recht nicht im höherpreisigen Segment, gebucht. Das ist inakzeptabel, zumal bei der Buchung davon keine Rede war, dass es sich um ein Zimmer mit derart Einschränkungen handelt.

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gute Lage
Nachdem ich in der ersten Nacht ein Zimmer direkt neben der bar hatte wo sehr laute Musik bis tief in die Nacht gespielt wurde konnte ich das Zimmer wechseln. Danach war alles super. Sehr ruhig. Das Personal war größtenteils sehr bemüht. Das Restaurant unten ist super. Pool und Strand auch sehr schön

Sehr zufrieden. Restaurant prima.
Ich habe ein sehr gutes Hotel angetroffen. Waren zu Beginn sehr enttauescht, weil es ein sehr kleines Zimmer fuer 3 Personen war. Da haette ich es keine Woche ausgehalten! Nach der Reklamation, bekamen wir ein groesseres und schoeneres Zimmer, danach konnten wir mit dem Urlaub beginnen.

The Gale is located in a vibing part of South Beach, there are lots of restaurants/bar options within walking distance. Miami Beach is a short walk away, you can access via sister hotel which has beach loungers and towels available.

Comfortable but noisy
I was in 311. The room had a window that had something in front of it so there is no outside light that will come in thru the small window so the room stayed dark. The room was comfortable. Despite the fact that it's on the 3rd floor, you can hear the music coming up from the basement level (it sounded like the music could have been coming from above even though it wasn't). If you are an early sleeper, this room isn't for you. The music would go on until about 3-4AM. This hotel is also confusing because on the Collins Ave side, it's called The Gale and you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the check in desk. On the other end (James?) its called The Regent. Both entrances require you to walk up 3-4 steps to get to the check in area so you will need help if you have a lot or heavy luggage. This hotel gives you 2 free bottled waters a day in the room.

Small room but conveniently located
Located in an excellent district offering walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. The room was tight with very little storage. I had to leave most of my clothing in packing cubes sitting on the window ledge.

This place is amazing! Front desk agents are beautiful people. Be sure to get your comp champagne.cookies, and beach chairs and umbrellas. This location is prime location and doesn’t get any better. Hotel was clean. Food was good downstairs and by the pool you order drinks through a phone. Pool was beautiful. I’ll be returning!!

A melhor localizaçao de MIAMI, o meu quarto muito ruim. Sem moveis para apoio, unico movel um criado de pessima qualidade, quando abri a gaveta caiu na minha perna, criou um edema enorme e dolorido.Primeiro quarto a janela e completamente fechada com grama artifial, simplesmente sem visao nenhuma para fora. O segundo tinha visao, mas nenhum movel de apoio para nada, mala, ou frasqueira tudo tem que ficar no chao. Nos 2 quartos vaza muita agua para fora do box, nao sei como, e assim fica muito perigoso o banheiro.

Parking was difficult and the valet was not helpful. We ended up parking in a nearby lot because he seemed very unapproachable. You usually expect more helpful staff at hotels in this price range. The hotel itself was well appointed and very cute but the room was extremely small, especially for my husband who is 6’6”. I loved the location because we were in walking distance from restaurants etc. Overall, my stay was okay but I was not wowed.

Dolce restaurant convenient for breakfast .& coffee. Complimentary water bottles & 5pm wine Beach lounge chairs & towels at sister hotel. Staff was helpful & attentive. Cons: room had no closet space & very limited drawer space to empty suitcases Would stay again.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Gale. It is such a wonderful boutique hotel. Rooms are great, quiet, and clean. The restaurant, bar and staff is awesome.
