The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. „The cottage is very close to the beach and the town centre, we found it to be very quiet and relaxing, and it has a parking spot outside the property, it is well equipped it has a full sized fridge freezer, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this roomy cottage.“

„We had a wonderful stay in River Cottage. The house is fabulous, with everything you could possibly need. The views of the river are spectacular and we loved sitting in the conservatory watching it racing by. This house doesn't want for anything and was perfect for our family. „Lovely little property close to the town and opposite the water. Steep steps lead up to the entrance but once inside the property has everything you need. Large sofa, small table for 4 and kitchen with facilities. Would consider staying again in the future “

„Wir haben die Tage im wunderschönen Cottage von Laura sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft liegt in Wasser- und Strandnähe im urigen Fischerdorf Staithes und vom Schlaf- sowie Wohnzimmer hat man einen tollen Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Morgens wurden wir von den Möwen geweckt, abends haben wir es genossen, am Kamin zu sitzen. Ein toller Aufenthalt in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Unterkunft. Danke.“

„The house was lovely and catered for all our needs. There were 13 of us aged from 3-62 and a dog! Plenty of room. The house is in a great location. Weather was mixed but didn’t spoil our holiday. We would definitely return to the property. Bottle of Prosecco was an added bonus thank you Jude.“

„This place is spot on for a little retreat away from the bustle of nearby towns. The host is really lovely and accommodating. We had an issue with hot water that she resolved immediately. There’s lovely little touches like some welcome snacks. Honestly excellent value as well, you’d definitely not complain even if prices were higher given quality of the stay. “

„We had a great time at Postgate Barn. The barn is refurbished with plenty of work and a lot of love to a realy cozy and lovely location. It´s wonderfully quiet and it takes only a few steps into the moor. The accomodation includes everything for the stay, even everything for the first cuppa tea or coffee. Thanks for Mark an Moya for giving us a warm welcome. All of us enjoyed the time (even the teenagers due to technical equipment) and we hope to return sometime.“
