Great place, we have rented here several times but it went off the market for a while. Looks like new owners have it and have made several nice upgrades. We payed extra to have the pool heated in Feb so that was nice to get in and do some exercises. Easy walk to the beach or tennis club house. We are already looking at our return trip next year!

The house was well stocked, comfortable, and easy access to the beach! Everything we could need was onsite and made for an easy careful free week for our family of 5! The on-site staff and My Vacay Haven was incredibly responsive and helpful at every turn. We are so so thankful and pleased with our stay!!Only downside, we were not able to access the resort amenities. The property advertises gym access for a fee, this was inaccurate.

Labor Day Getaway 2024

This is our second stay at this vacation home because we love everything about it. The only issue we ran into this time around was the dryer. Maintenance came out the next day to repair but we was told that the dryer needed to be replaced. It was kind of an inconvenience because we had clothes and towels that we usually wash and dry during our stay. With no clean towels in the home we had to go to the local walmart to purchase extra towels to bath on the 2nd night. Pam in guest relations came out and picked up the dirty towels on the 3rd night and provided us with clean ones. She was very very helpful for the entire stay after the 1st call. Thanks so much again for everything Ms Pam!! The dryer issue definitely won’t stop us from booking this home again.

Lovely, Relaxing Home With The Perfect Pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's beautifully decorated and the living areas and bedrooms were perfect for our family. It's located in close proximity to great restaurants and shopping. Great Family Place

This is a wonderful place! They have thought of everything. Lots of beds, clean, large kitchen table, cooking utensils, beautiful and practical. Having the pool is great for young families. It is perfect! Had a little algae when we arrived and they came right away and took care of it! We loved it and would highly recommend! Also, we have stayed at Tops’l many times through the years. Beautiful beach and very nice people. Lots to do right there for kids too!

GREAT STAY!

Hands down this was one of the best Vrbo rentals I've ever stayed in. The house was very spacious and met all of our needs with the exception of the foul odor (coming from the garbage disposal) throughout the house, whenever we first arrived. The screened in pool was awesome! Being able to swim at night and early in the morning was everything to us! We felt very safe in the community and everyone was pleasant and friendly! All of our needs were just a text or call away! Great customer service! We loved how they even came out and cleaned the grill for us! My only recommendation would be that the cost of the pool warming to be included whenever you book it... I definitely would recommend this stay to anyone! We're definitely coming back! We enjoyed your property!

Great Property / Ridiculous Cleaning Fee

The house was beautiful and close to everything. I would have easily given it 5 stars. I have to take away 2 stars. These stars were taken away due to the very high cleaning fee and the following issues: 1 star because the patio furniture was disgusting. Green algae and black mold on every cushion. 1 star because for the high cleaning fee, don't ask me to do the dishes and take out the trash. I should not have to clean anything for such a high cleaning fee. That is ridiculous.

Class reunion

6 of us got together for an annual class reunion. The house accommodated us all nicely, and the location worked well. We enjoyed many hours by the pool, on the surrounding paths, on the beach. We cooked out each night. The only problem was checking in. We were told to check in at the registration desk, but they couldn't help us as they were a different rental group. The only "check-in" was with the gate guard. We got in ok, but this should be corrected.

TRAVELER BEWARE look at the google reviews for My Vacation Haven, if I had seen those reviews I would not have gone with this house. Overall the house was just okay, just a normal house. The pool pictures are misleading, the pool and jacuzzi are much smaller than in the picture. The jacuzzi can only comfortably fit one person at a time. The master bedroom does not have a king bed it is two full mattresses put together and it was very uncomfortable. In the house the cleanliness was okay, there were dirty utensils, chipped and cracked mugs, the carpets shed horribly. We found one pillow on a couch with candy stuck to it and a live cockroach came out of that same couch. Also, I had to download a third-party app for check-in which was inconvenient and defeats the purpose of using VRBO. I messaged the property management about the cockroach incident and received no response. The really horrible part of this house is the property management. I was wrongly charged for damages to the property without my knowledge or permission directly to my card. I was told afterward that my card had been charged. It was then that I informed the property manager that we had purchased insurance through VRBO for this very reason but she was not helpful. We spoke with the company multiple times trying to get in touch with someone who would help us with this issue and when we finally got in touch with someone it was the same person and when we told her once again that she needed to refund us our money and go through the insurance because the insurance pays them not us for the damages she hung up on me. As of this moment, we have still not received a refund for this charge. I do not recommend staying here.
