This home is in a great location. Sandestin offers a laid-back vibe, and access to restaurants and the beach via golf cart is very convenient. The home itself is beautiful, well decorated, and comfortably furnished. Each room has dressers, the beds are comfortable, and the wraparound porch is great for relaxing. For a family of 5, the space worked well.Cons: Basic amenities are not provided and this is not disclosed in the listing. No hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Supplies were extremely limited—1 dishwasher pouch, a small dish soap, fewer than 4 rolls of toilet paper, 3 trash bags, and 1 paper towel roll for a week stay. No beach/pool towels, and bath towels are few and low quality.Fitting 8 would be tight. Hot water runs out quickly, and the upstairs gets very warm (fans help but it’s still noticeable). Temperature appears preset and requires monitoring. Parking is limited—tight for two vehicles and unclear for more.Kitchen supplies are minimal (no oil, foil, limited prep bowls). No welcome binder, just basic info. “Free perks” app is misleading—more of a discount app.With proper stocking of basic amenities, this could easily be a 4/5 stars. The area is great, but management needs improvement.
