However, the unique architecture and many beautiful details of this village-style complex are charming and set it apart from any recently built, all-looking-the-same chain hotel. „Beautiful artsy place with an amazing view of the ocean! The hosts Roberto and Josephine’s are very sweet, talkative, kind and, very helpful. Breakfast was always varied and vary tasty. The lovely pool was always at a perfect temperature. If there was any problem with the accommodations ( like there was no hot water), Roberto was quick to be on it and have it resolved. You couldn’t ask very perfect hosts and the view. Magnificent! I would highly recommend this place!“

„Very nice and centrally located hotel in colonial style. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the nice restaurant is serving breakfast and good ceviche and margaritas in the evening. Colonial is for me the best choice in downtown Manzanillo, and I very much prefer this location over the touristic areas along the bay.“

„Beautiful quaint smaller tranquil hotel with stunning beachfront views and direct access to the Playa de Oro gorgeous beach! The beach and hotel are heavenly! This was our 2nd vacation time staying there. The rooms are. Spacious and comfortable witj a balcony private pool, jacuzzi and shower in the BR. Restaurant on site service and menu was very nice! Service was friendly and 5 srs for All. Recommend “

From the exceptional staff who froze the marlin we caught on our deep sea fishing excursion and prepared not 1 but 2 delicious gourmet meals for our group to the accommodating staff all around pool/shuttle/house keeping/chefs/management/wait staff. They get to know you by name. It is with our utmost enthusiasm that we recommend this beautiful property and superb staff. You won’t be dissatisfied.“

„Sugiero que se este más al pendiente de las reservaciones en línea para que la espera en el check-in sea menos; la verdad es que no me agrado mucho que a nuestra llegada la habitación no estuviera lista y que por ello nos hayan dado otra habitación, entiendo que hayan tenido contratiempos pero creo que fueron bastantes en nuestra estancia, ya que también tuvimos escases de agua por no decir nula. Aun así las instalaciones son buenas y cómodas.“

Aber weder Salz noch Pfeffer? Leider funktionierte auch unsere Klimaanlage nicht. War das wirklich vorher nicht bekannt? Wir bekamen dann ein anderes Zimmer. Das Hotel wirbt damit umweltfreundlich zu sein. Zu dem überschaubaren Frühstück gibt es jedoch ausschließlich wegwerf Geschirr. “
