« Elegant hotel with caring, professional staff. Clean rooms, electric blankets, classy lines and decor. Yeti Mountain Home is THE standard for the region. Be mindful of Yeti Mountain Home LUKLA, on my recent stay, the manager was thugish and deceptive...the lady assistant did her best to mitigate the damage that this brutish trickster is doing to the face of this classy hotel line. My hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed, cared for and recovering from my adventures. The rooms were clean, the food great and atmosphere welcoming. I have my favorites and among them is the Namgyal. It’s not only comfortable, with a wonderful dining room/hang out area, solar room, private bathrooms, hot showers (!!!) and delicious food—best veggie burger I’ve ever had, savory Sherpa stew and divine apple pie—but it’s a place you want to stay for two...
