Entry is two steps: the bottom back door beneath the upstairs staircase opens with a building code — enter the code, then turn the deadbolt — and inside the foyer, your own apartment code opens the door on the right. Both codes are released in your digital guidebook once your rental agreement is signed, your check-in form is complete, and your balance is paid.

📝 Rental Agreement
Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking
This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same
It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage
It takes about two minutes — there is no app to download and no account or password to create
We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete

🏡 Property Setup
This is one of the downstairs units in a building with several apartments
Other guests may be staying in the neighboring apartments during your reservation
Your apartment is private and exclusively yours

🔑 Getting In — two steps

🚗 Parking
Pull into the driveway on the left side of the home and park in the rear

🔥 Gas Heaters — please read
The bedrooms and living room have gas heaters
Full lighting instructions are in your guidebook and the house manual
In winter, please turn them DOWN rather than fully off — turning one off completely cuts the pilot, and it will need relighting

🗑️ Trash
The bins are kept out by the road on Madison Avenue and shared with the other units
Just drop your bags in — nothing needs to be brought back

⏰ Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
Every request has to be manually approved
Check with us and we'll check with our cleaning company
Fee: $20 per hour, with a one-hour minimum
Please request as early as possible

Motion-activated exterior cameras monitor the entrances and outdoor areas of the property
No cameras monitor any indoor area
Exterior cameras may record audio and video
An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only
The noise monitor does not record audio or video and is not placed in any bedroom or bathroom

🔑 Minimum Booking Age
The primary booking guest must be at least 21 for an apartment
The primary guest must be present throughout the reservation
The primary guest is responsible for their group, visitors, and compliance with house rules
Reservations that misrepresent the primary guest's age may be canceled in accordance with the applicable booking terms
