Our visit started out really well. Lovely apartment, great neighborhood, easy check-in.We did wonder what was up with the car parked in our "free parking space." "It's OK," said the property manager. "Go to the paid lot and I'll reimburse you. And I'll get that space freed up pronto!"What about the open trash on the fire escape, right outside the living room door. "Really? We'll look into that right away," said the property manager.Ooooh, there's a mouse in the house! Bet he's enjoying the trash feast. "Thanks, we'll work on that," said the property manager.Hey, is EVERY bathroom fixture actually falling off the wall? "Um, thanks for telling us."We checked out three days later. Paid for our own parking. Before we left, we saw our mouse friend again. Throughout our stay, we tried to ignore the trash still on the fire escape.After we got home, the property managers offered us a partial refund. Said explicitly that they REALLY didn't want us to leave a bad review. How nice. Right?Except there was no refund. Not even for the parking.In fact, over the next two weeks, the property manager literally promised us on 7 separate days, "I'll get back to you by the end of the day" about a refund.Never happened.I don't like leaving negative reviews. But I REALLY don't like being misled and lied to.What a wildly disappointing experience. Would not recommend this property or property manager to others.
