« This is our 3rd stay on the property and 2nd stay in the farmhouse. My daughter lives in Rutherfordton so we spent most of our time with her to include visiting Biltmore, which took all of Sunday. We stayed from Friday evening to Sunday morning. No time to explore as we have done in the past. »

« My husband and I loved our three night getaway from the city .The older farmhouse had everything we needed, but the highlight was the animals. We loved sitting on the front porch and watching the horses and the donkey and the goats were very entertaining as well. There were a couple of cats that hung around and were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Unfortunately, for us, it rained every day And the sun didn’t shine at all. Other than that, we had a perfect getaway. »

« This is not a place to stay, this is an experience, and a most amazing one at that! We pulled up to the property you could audibly hear all of our jaws collectively drop. The front porch, the walkways, the screened entrance on the side...just wow! You enter this home and time warped back to the late 1800's. The history inside was amazing. « Peaceful and calm. Would definitely stay again. Private rejuvenation retreat, Even when it rains your eyes can feast the past for hours. The exquisite sound of the screen doors as they make their way to the snap of a close. Nostalgic, the kind that opens doors and gets banana pudding made at 1030pm ending with a sit in the porch. The history alone is worth the stay. Can’t wait to see what they do next!. »
