« We loved this property. It was perfect for the two of us and our two small dogs. The property was the cleanest pet friendly place we have ever stayed. It is conveniently located to the touristy places we wanted to visit. The hosts, Betty and Jerry, were very friendly. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations.The property had everything that we needed from free WIFI to excellent parking to any forgotten toiletries.We highly recommend this property! »

« I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again. »

« The neighbor hood is very nice. We walked up and down the street and stopped for ice cream. Wish we would have got to eat at the Mexican right across the street. The house is awesome! Betty was great and even set up a cot for an extra bed. The house had everything we needed. We loved the history of the house and enjoyed staying in an older home that was perfectly maintained. « Absolutely beautiful property. Sparkling clean, comfortable beds, beautiful hot tub well maintained yard with soft grass. We had our lab with us and he adored running in the fenced yard. Location was perfect for visiting Mt Airy. Host was lovely. What a wonderful place to make memories!!! »

« We needed a 1 level home for a getaway to visit one of our favorite vineyards, Jolo, which was only 3 minutes away. I was on crutches with a broken ankle, and this home met my needs perfectly. Clear access to all areas if the home. A perk--when we arrived, there was a deer in the backyard--such a beautifully peaceful setting! »

« Great place to stay in Mt. Airy! The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed to prepare meals. There was plenty of space to relax. We were very close to downtown. Would stay here again!! We didn't have young children but the play area would have been perfect if we did. We did grill and enjoy the hot tub. The host communication was great - not just autogenerated messages. Great experience! Super clean, too! »

« Everything was wonderful. Coming into a beautiful little home that was quaint And cozy, and have a decorated for Halloween with a few decorations was quite a surprise. It reminded you that you are headed into the fall season. The basket of treats was a welcomed gift and the water left in the refrigerator was extremely unexpected. We are both in our 70s and enjoy traveling and seeing a tiny home. This home gave us an idea of what we might be looking for in the future, however in a warmer climate...

« What a magical property. We had a blast spending time exploring this property, floating on our paddles boards, a day trip to Fairy Stone State Park. The place is very well kept and equipped with everything you made need. It was the most peaceful sleep with a comfy bed and the roar of the waterfall. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! »

« Some of the amenities listed for the property we're not on site. There was no hot tub. That wasn't a huge deal. However, the listing did state there was air conditioning and there was not. There happened to be record high temperatures during our stay and two adults have medical conditions/on medication that makes them heat intolerant as well as one of the children being autistic, the lack of AC was a major issue. « View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains! »
