« It was everything the host said it would be. Despite navigating the narrow winding road in the rain (which we were warned about) we had a lovely time, plenty of room to spread out yet comfy and cozy. »

« The cabin was cozy and just what we needed a a stop over on our trip. We enjoyed seeing the drive through lights at Bristol Motor Speedway and the downtown restaurants were good. The cabin was clean and stocked with coffee. We loved hearing the creek outside in the morning. »

« We had a great week in Boone NC visiting App State, the town of Boone, Blowing rock (be sure to visit the Garden Sactuary at 431 Sunset Drive and look up the story of the prayers and fire) and Grandfather Mountain. The house was perfect with 6 adults/ 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. It was clean and well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, detergent, paper towels, trash bags and things that aren't typically included. « Delightful!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mountaineer Log Cabin! Its location was perfect—close enough to town for easy access to the shops we needed, our son’s apartment, and Kidd Brewer Stadium. « Lauren and Will were amazing hosts! The house was absolutely beautiful—spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the hot tub, which was perfectly placed on the porch for a private and peaceful soak. The fire pit was another great touch and made for the perfect spot to unwind in the evenings. « The house had everything needed. We couldn’t figure out the gas logs but it didn’t really matter to us. The weather was freezing (17 degrees feels like -10) and we had snow so the house felt warm and comfortable even with high winds throughout the night. Thankfully there’s a road above to leave the house during the winter weather so we didn’t slide down the driveway. Pet friendly is the reason we booked. Everyone in our family agreed that we would stay again. »
