„Stimmige Zimmer, sogar mit Cheminée, dieses wurde am frühen Abend eingefeuert! Zimmer mit Seeblick haben einen direkten Ausgang zu einer schönen Terrasse. Sehr gutes Abendessen (empfehlenswert)und Frühstück in einem schönen wintergartenähnlichen Raum. Ausgezeichnetes "home made muesli":-), man gab uns sogar einige abgepackte Portionen zum Abschied mit!“

„The location of the hotel is good. The stairs down the the rooms is built for somebody with long legs and the ramp - not sure if that is for a wheel chair which I will never use. The restaurant is very over priced and its really not great food. The food at Mrs Simpson is WAY better. The fire place, having a vent right on top, the room was always smelling of smoke. Rooms do all need a little TLC. Staff is very friendly and helpful.“

„There is a braai in the unit (ie in the bedroom) that makes the room reek of smoke. Even opening all the windows didn’t help. Bedding was clean and comfortable but it is down feathers, which is not good for travelers with allergies to that and the smoke. The unit is central which is nice but it is extremely basic and overpriced “

„The place is beautiful, no doubt, and if you want a quiet get away then this is for you. I did find the roads and lighting around the estate to be rundown somewhat, and that I feel is not good. Everything else is truly beautiful.“
