„This lovely property is a quiet cabin in a rural area fully fenced and with a lovely outdoor space. The owners live on the property but are respectful of privacy. While compact, our hosts provided everything that one could need, including many thoughtful touches. The breakfast items, including fresh farm eggs, were generous and very tasty. „Chris is the consummate host. Met us at the property and showed us where everything was. He had the fires lit and it was cosy and warm on arrival. It’s well appointed with everything you need. „It was beautiful and so peaceful, i was very surprised of how big it was, the best way to describe it was a home away from home with bonuses, the 2 person spa was great, a private little room where you can relax, the bedroom was large and well kept, it was a very cozy sleep and the morning after just sitting out on the lounge having a morning coffee was peaceful, my only downfall is i didn't stay longer, if anyone is considering this property for a little romantic getaway i highly recommend it “

„The stay is close to both Sheparton and Echuca, so we drove to both the two places.The cottage is really nice, there were plenty of amenities provided by the host (Mary), so we can cook and clean like we're at home. We were lucky on of the days, the sky was clean so we can see the starry sky clearly!“

„Crofton Cottage is an absolutely wonderful place for a couple to stay. It is full of old world charm, beautifully decorated and within walking distance to the local eateries and attractions around the wharf and port precinct. Jill and Peter were exceptional hosts and they made us feel right at home. Could not recommend the cottage more highly.“

„Two sisters on a road trip to Melbourne decided to break the journey in Beechworth and stay at Gladstone House. What a find! Location excellent - just a short stroll into town.
