Garden City for the win!

The condo was perfect for my family of 5. Very cute and cheery. My kids were happy to have the bunk beds. The top bunk has a rail. We enjoyed the living/kitchen space to hang out in and really loved the screened patio overlooking the marsh. Cool views! Watching Tropical Storm Chantal roll in over the marsh was pretty wild. Thankfully all stayed safe! We loved walking to the beach so easily. Arcades, ice cream, the pier, a few restaurants are all right there. Really fun time! We would stay again

Condo was perfect for us. Washer/dryer was a plus. Patio was amazing! Only complaint would be the shower pressure is terrible but overall a very great place to stay!

Spring 25 Bike Week

All interactions I’ve had with Wendy have been excellent. She is a great host. Wendy’s room had an issue with the refrigerator last minute, but she arranged another room for my group to stay in with Rachel. Wendy continued to check in with me and made sure everything was good. The check in procedure was really easy with no issues. I would definitely rent from Wendy again and refer her to friends and family looking for some where to stay in the Garden City area. Also, Rachel was wonderful as well. Room was exactly what we wanted. No major issues that couldn’t be handled. Thank you Wendy and Rachel for your kindness and last minute room change.

We had a great stay! The rental was clean and as advertised! We appreciated the stocked kitchen, extra paper towels and toilet paper, the tooth brushes and the beach towels! We enjoyed coffee each morning on the screened in porch with the views of the marsh! The location was great! Pier was within walking distance and was really nice! Gigi’s at the arcade had the best lunch!! Communication with the owner was quick and friendly! We would stay here again!

Family Vacation

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. Our children loved the location! We were able to walk easily to the arcade, the pier, shops, restaurants, and the beach. The condo was adorable and was stocked with everything we needed while we were there. It was spotless upon arrival and we found it to be quite comfortable. The property owner was a pleasure to work with and we would definitely book a vacation here again!

My overall impression of the property was it’s in a good location within walking distance to the pier and other things to do. The only drawback I had was being an older adult It was kind of hard going up and down the steps to the third floor, other than that, it was a great vacation for us.

Great location and amenities

Our stay was great! The cleanliness and location were fantastic and exactly as the pictures showed. It’s a short, safe walk to beach access. The arrival with key pad worked perfectly. The small finishing touches in the rental were great! Games, beach gear, a clothesline to dry wet clothing, spare tooth brushes and toiletries were great additions. Be prepared for the third floor hike with luggage and children, but the views are worth it. Aside from some emergency traffic along the beach route, it’s fairly quiet. We enjoyed the Causeway the first time and walking the local shops. Be sure to check out Drippy’s Homemade Ice Cream Shop on the corner of Atlantic and the Village Surf Shop for some quality clothing.

Nice condo but the listing lacked information

Overall we had a good stay, but there were several key pieces of information that were omitted. First, when we came home the first night the entire street in front of the condo was flooded. We could not even reach the parking lot from the original route we took. Several cars and vans were damaged and owners were attempting to salvage them. That could have easily been our vehicle, so we were very thankful we had gone out that night. Being from the lowcountry of South Carolina I understand flooding, but evidently this is a regular occurrence. Secondly, the facility had no elevator and although there was a storage room, it was not available to the renter, so we had to haul all of the beach supplies up three flights of stairs every day. Also, we brought a beach tent and set it up for our children, and directly after doing so, the life guard told us only umbrellas are allowed on the beach. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. Next, I was not able to locate the code to the pool gave very easily and when I contacted the owner, the inquiry was not received very graciously. Lastly, we had to wash all of the towels and things that were used in the condo before we left, which was a big inconvenience, especially after being charged for a cleaning fee. The property was very clean and nice, but having this information would have been very helpful.

Family End of Smmer Trip

We loved this rental unit! Everything was very clean and well taken care of. There are some basic toiletries provided, and a kitchen well stocked with any utensil or pan you could possibly need. We were even surprised by the little dental care kits . The pool is shaded in the morning so it was nice to alternate days with the beach to get a break from the sun. My family has been coming to this beach through multiple generations, so the location was very familiar. It's bustling this time of year and offers a little something for everyone. The owner/ host was amazing and very quick to answer to any communications. We hope to visit again next year!

Fantastic for our family

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. Just a short walk to the beach, a great pool, and a short drive to Murrells Inlet and many great restaurants. The view from the back porch is second to none! It was a great experience and the condo was exactly what we were expecting!

Beach week

The location is great. Easy walk to the pier, beach, and shops. We enjoyed watching a variety of birds in the marsh from the balcony. The condo was clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked.

Family Vacation

The stay was great, we were all comfortable, the condo description was very accurate and the communication with owner was excellent. Everything was in walking distance, and my favorite part of it all was sitting on the balcony in the morning with my coffee and looking out into the marsh.

Great location

This is a great location, close to beach and shopping, very nice inside, the screened porch has double sliding doors making it a extrended living area. Owner was great with communications and very helpful. This is a very nice property.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was clean and well furnished. I appreciated the outdoor patio furniture and was so happy we got to enjoy the beautiful sunset from there one night…as unfortunately it rained most of our stay! The location is great, a super short walk to the beach and you can even see the ocean from the front of the condo. It is listed that it’s on the top floor and there is no elevator so beware of that and prepared. It was exhausting going up and down after a long day out or if you happened to forget something up in the room but otherwise a great stay.

Great Hidden Gem....

We had never stayed in Garden City so we were a little nervous about the whole trip as we planned it. But we are so glad we lucked up on this spot! It was very clean, the description given was spot on, and it was walking distance to the beach, pier, shops, and restaurants. My teens loved the atmosphere of this area and there was even some time for us adults to have fun at the pier with the bar and live music. The only problem we had honestly was the four flights of stairs we had to take to get to our room...kind of tough with bags, food, and beach gear. But overall this place was great and I would definitely love to come again!!

Nice clean condo

We enjoyed our stay. We had an issue with the keypad for first couple of days but was provided a key to be able to get in and out. The condo was very clean. Beautiful views of the marsh at sunset and a short walk to the beach. Our family had a great time.

I normally get anxiety from trying to find a great place to stay for my family. From booking to check in all the way to check out our host was great she answered my emails in a timely manner and was awesome. This was an awesome place the building and grounds itself were clean and very well-maintained. Our condo was impeccable you can tell that the host has put a lot of time and money into her condo. I highly recommend this place we went down with extended family they stayed elsewhere we chose here and we were not disappointed when I was showing my extended family our place they were so disappointed they did not see this place before we did. I definitely will stay here again. The location to the pier and the beach and all the little shops and restaurants was just a short walk. I give this place a five star review book your stay here you will not be disappointed.

Perfect

This condo was the perfect place for our family vacation. We needed a place for our family of seven to prepare meals, sleep, and relax so we could spend a lot of our time at the beach and exploring the area. We loved that there was a pool so if we needed a break from sand and waves we still had a way to play outside and keep cool. The walk to the beach was only about 5 minutes. The host was great at communicating. We would love to come back sometime.
