Ein älteres , jedoch gepflegtes Hotel. Teppich im Zimmer müsste getauscht werden. Sauberkeit war in allen Bereichen gegeben . Frühstück und dortiger Service war hervorragend. Lounge Access wurde getauscht vom 13 Stock in die Lobby, der Service und das Ambiente dort entsprach leider überhaupt nicht den Erwartungen und ist verschenktes Geld. Mitarbeiter Almass macht einen hervorragenden Job , vielen Dank dafür. Für mich war dies leider das schlechteste Sheraton was ich bis jetzt besucht habe und ich würde anderen Hotels in Muscat den Vorzug geben.

Für 1-2 Nächte zu empfehlen
Wir haben eine Nacht direkt nach Ankunft in Muscat im Sheraton verbracht. Check-in ging bereits sehr früh, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren. Hotel hat einige Jahre auf dem Buckel, aber alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Zimmer war völlig in Ordnung. Der Pool war leider super voll mit Familien und es roch sehr nach Chlor. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut mit einer großen Auswahl an Speisen und gutem Service. Für 1 oder 2 Nächte kann ich das Hotel empfehlen.

Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt, sehr aufmerksames personal und einmalig zuvorkommend! Sie versuchen die Wünsche von den Lippen abzulesen. Durch die Lage des Hotels , ist auf jeden Fall ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert, weil die Stadt über 49 km sich entlang der Küste zieht. Die Stadt ist sehr sauber und ruhiger als die Haupt Metropolen dieser Erde.

Sehr schönes Hotel an guter Lage (wenn kein Auto)
Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. In Gehdistanz ist ein Busstop für den BigBusCity Tour Bus. Auch in Gehdistanz ist der Busbahnhof von Ruwi, von dort aus kann man den Bus zum Flughafen nehmen, sowie zur Moschee, zur Altstadt, zum Qurum Strand, Shopping Mall usw. Wenn man kein Auto hat, ist es sehr praktisch. Es hat auch ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein paar kleine Coffeeshops, sowie einen BurgerKing, Pizzahut und KFC. Im Hotel hat es mehrere Restaurants und eine Bar, alles sehr empfehlenswert. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommenend. Wir konnten das Zimmer kostenlos bis 16:00 Uhr behalten obwohl es voll ausgelastet war.

Das Sheraton Maskat ist in jeder Hinsicht empfehlenswert. Es liegt fussläufig von der busstation Ruwi entfernt, das hat den Vorteil,dass Maskat sehr gut mit den öffentlichen Bussen zu erkunden ist. Weiterhin sind ausnahmslos alle Mitarbeiter sehr bemüht dem Gast den Aufenthalt äußerst angenehm zu gestalten. Das Frühstück im Hotel hat zwar seinen Preis, es lässt aber keine Wünsche offen. Und,und,und noch viel mehr positives was zu weit führen würde um alles im Detail zu erwähnen. Es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Danke nochmals für den Wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Land der "fliegenden Teppiche"

Tolles Businesshotel
Schönes Business-Hotel mit tollen Annehmlichkeiten. Der Fitnessbereich ist super ausgestattet mit Luxusduschen, Dampfbad und Sauna. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich uns hilfsbereit. Nur an der Rezeption hat der Check-in zu lange gedauert und der Check-out war eine Katastrophe. Dier zuständige Bearbeiter war auch beim dritten Versuch nicht fähig, meinen Namen und meine Adresse richtig von meiner Visitenkarte abzuschreiben. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig und lecker. Jeder kann hier etwas finden. In der Nacht leuchtet vor jedem Fenster eine Lampe,die das Zimmer erhellt. Es gibt zwar eine Jalousie, aber nicht jeder möchte bei absoluter Dunkelheit schlafen.

Das Sheraton Hotel mitten der Stadt
Ein schönes Hotel, wo man in Ruhe ein paar Tage verbleiben kann um Muscat zu besuchen. Das Hotel hat im Garten einen schönen Swimmingpool. Ideal ist es sein Verbleib auch mal in dem Sheraton Club zu sein, wo man morgens und nachmittags Snacks essen kann und wo zwischen 18:00 und 20:00 u "free drinks" angeboten werden.

Our stay in Muscat was made wonderful by the fabulous staff at the Sheraton. The reception, executive lounge and restaurant staff were all so welcoming and helpful. The staff were super helpful and welcoming. It was very clean around the hotel including the rooms however maybe the bathrooms can do with a bit of an update - there was a musty smell and the bathtub was a bit old. I took the breakfast option which was a buffet but there wasn’t much selection of hot food and the food was repetitive. However the waiters are all attentive and they do go above and beyond to try to meet your needs. Also, I like to see traditional food options too, but I didn’t see anything at breakfast except for Omani tea. There is a pool area which is very nice as well as spa facilities.

The hotel staff are the biggest asset of this hotel. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel like special guests. The reception staff, restaurant staff and the club lounge provided excellent service and were very attentive. The location of the hotel means it is not easy to seek out alternative dining options but choices at the hotel were good. Thank you to all staff for making our stay so memorable.

Great Spa Experience & Breakfast Buffet
I stayed here for only 1 night at the beginning of my trip of Oman. It was convenient, comfortable, and clean. The front desk was very friendly and helpful which was great. I ate at the restaurant serving the pool area and was disappointed at the slow service. They were clearly understaffed for that area but seemed slow in general. I did eat at the breakfast buffet the next morning and was impressed with the selections and customer service. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The highlight of my stay was the massage at the spa. It was wonderful! I got the relaxing Swedish massage and it was divine.

Stunning pool but service needs to be improved
Quality of the hotel was really good although it was of a 'classic' style and kept very clean. The food was great including the themed nights and huge breakfast spread. The temperature controlled outdoor pool was amazing. Really disappointed in the service ... constantly trying to get attention of staff. We had Club lounge access and they couldn't even get a gin & tonic correct. There is clearly still smoking on the 13th floor in the Club Lounge, but the whole floor smells. On the morning of New Years Eve, there was a note under the door to say that the outdoor pool area would be closed from 14:30 to set up for the party that night. Very disappointed that we weren't notified about this at check-in or at least given more notice so that we could have planned our days accordingly. If staying at the hotel over 31 December then make sure you ask for a room that doesn't overlook the pool as it was very noisy.

Superlækkert hotel. Meget flot og velholdt. Dejlig serviceminded personale. Fint pool område. Stort og velfungerende fitness område. Fuld valuta for pengene. Dog kunne middags buffetten ved 1/2 pension have været mere varieret og omfattende Sheraton Oman kan stærkt anbefales.
