„We enjoyed a relaxing couple of days at the Mountain View Retreat. We enjoyed the snacks (especially the muffins) and relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the view. We checked out a couple of the restaurants the host recommended, and were pleased with both. The space was just right for our family of four, and we appreciated the cozy fireplace to take the chill off of rainy fall days. „We really enjoyed staying here. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We had an issue with one of the windows not closing all the way and they sent someone over immediately to fix it. The area is beautiful and we definitely recommend staying here.“

„Amazing property surrounded by nature. Very private and quiet. Close to Hatcher Pass so you can recreate like the locals but still have easy access to the highway. Very clean with comfortable couches and beds. Well maintained. Closest grocery stores are in Wasilla so make sure you stop on the way in if coming from the south. “

Three of us stayed here, one on the futon. We were hoping there would be some kind of bedding for the futon, but we had to supply some ourselves. „This was a great property for our two-couple group to stay. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay long as it was just a stopping point between Homer and Denali, but we did get to check out Hatcher Pass on our way out which we would definitely recommend to others. „This was a very positive and fun experience! My three-year-old loved the plane and spent a lot of time in the cockpit and the cargo hold. He did fine with the plane parts, etc. Things to note with an infant (12 months old but not quite walking) - obviously the plan is not child-proofed for this age. There are tons of outlets, the cargo hold door being open while toddler playing in it, and stairs to enter the plane. So a super vigilant parent is needed for an eye at all times.
