„The cabin was very clean. The lake was great for fishing, but not able to swim in it. It’s very relaxing and peaceful there. Would definitely consider staying there again. “

„Maple Point Hideaway is the place you go to get away from it all. The cabin was clean and had comfortable beds. Our family spent most of our time doing day trips and exploring the area. “

Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. „Wow! We were absolutely amazed by the wonderful hospitality of these hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed and provide such a peaceful and gorgeous setting on Sugar Island. The house was perfect for our large family and everyone was very comfortable. The small store on site has ice cream, cold drinks and unique treasures. “

„My husband and I came up for a weekend to recharge. This rustic, charming cabin was perfect! The owners were fantastic to deal with. The dock was a peaceful place to watch the sunrise with your coffee. Will definitely be back. “

„Property was a ways from town and had to take a ferry to get there, but my fault for not reading description carefully. Cabin was exceptionally clean and very well stocked towels, bedding, cooking accessories. Owner responded in a timely manner.“

„We stayed for a week with our three kids (11, 15, 17) and had an AMAZING time! Found plenty to do within 60 minutes, and also enjoyed 3/4 days just hanging at the house. The beach was better than we imagined, watching the freighters was a family affair, the ferry was a breeze and evening fires on the sandy beach was a favorite. We also saw the aforementioned red fox on several occasions, which was cool. We brought our kayaks and loved taking them out. Would love to plan a return trip!“
