« The cabin was beautiful! Every detail was very thought out from being super clean, a well stocked kitchen, and great linens. The cabin decor, smart design, and unique touches make this a find. The lake is peaceful and we even got to see some wildlife when enjoying the deck. No TV or wifi in the cabin but you won’t even miss it. Truly a gem! »

« We asked the host if there was any smells in the cabin when we booked our stay because my wife has a number of health issues that strong synthetic smells can make worse. Such as scented laundry soap and cleaning supplies. We were assured by the host that there was no smell and she asked the cleaning crew to not use any cleaning supplies with and odor. When we arrived at the cabin we walked in to an overwhelming smell of laundry soap with sent so much that my wife was only able to be in the cabin...

« This cabin is ideal for those who want to get away. It’s quiet. Great view! Our dogs loved the river. The hosts thought of everything. There was nothing I needed that was not already there. The only potential negative was the mosquitoes, but a couple squirts of repellent protected us very well.Sugar Island is enigmatic, a combination of waterfront homes and cabins, small farms, most cattle raising, and more than a few subsistence farms. The people are great!! »
