« Convenient to park and shopping. Very nice place, quiet, some nice views of the Tablelands from back deck. Buy groceries in Deer Lake or at a local store with much less stocking. Black Spruce restaurant was good but a bit heavy on sauces - (Cod dinner). Hike up partway or all of Gros Morne trail - just 5 miles or so away. Don't miss Discovery Center - excellent geology displays. And Green Point for interest in the Cambrian/Ordovician boundary (for geology nuts like me). Very good kitchen,...

« As a family of 10, this house met all of our needs and then some! From being greeted with a gift basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to having a sparkling clean house with plenty of room and space. I’ve never stayed in a more well stocked house - we didn’t need to buy anything except food. Location was perfect allowing us to strike out to various spots in the Avalon region within 1.5 hours drive. The host was very helpful and gracious if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!! »
