Fleas

The house had fleas. We all left with multiple bites. The furniture was very uncomfortable. The hot tub had dirty suds so we couldn’t use it. The bathrooms were not as clean as they should have been. The hot water didn’t work downstairs but they apparently did come and fix it while we weren’t there. The fleas were a big turn off as none of the people in my group have pets at home to have to come and deal with that on vacation.

Cute house in a neighborhood that's not too busy but still enough nearby (coffee, market, brunch). Very glad to find a place with enough space for 5 adults to be comfortable.We had a few issues housekeeping to start with that were dealt with promptly by the host and sadly the hot tub wasn't ready for use.

Nola Trip

Overall the property was good and the location is literally 5 mins from bourbon street. Parking is kind of a task if you’re traveling with more than two cars. The kitchen was upstairs, so if you’re traveling with older adults be sure they can go up and down the stairs. Only thing I can say that was a con was we didn’t get a chance to get in the hot tub because it wasn’t cleaned for us. That’s the only reason I took a star away. But overall me and my family were very pleased with our stay and will probably try to stay again if this place is available.

Quirky little home

This place served a nice distance from all the attractions and was not difficult to get to. Check-in was easy and it was pretty much as listed. Definitely an interesting layout, but the fact that it does have five bedrooms and three bathrooms makes it great for parties. The hot tub was not cleaned so we were unable to use, but we would not have had time to use it anyways as it was. Overall, you’re looking for a close place to New Orleans attractions and don’t mind a little quirkiness then this is your place.

We left and got a refund

The property could be very cute. However, we booked for the private hot tub and garden area and it was a mess. It clearly hadnt been cleaned in months. The chairs and table were stained and filthy. The water in the hot tub was green and filter area was black. The half bath was out of order and towels in the bathrooms were stained and falling apart.I will say the property managers were good abt giving me a refund for the total cost, but if there had been an event going on, we would have been stuck. And none us wanted to sleep in that house...

large house with great location

pleas read entire review.the reason i did not give more stars was because of cleaning issues that were resolved with help from owners. the house has been totally redone. kithcen has great applances and all 5 bedrooms have great tvs. it is hard to find tvs in all bed rooms and with kids that is important. location was great close to canal street car. i wouls highly recomend this house.

Pretty much as shown in the listing. Found the back patio could have been cleaned up better, beer cans, lots of tree droppings, etc…. Hot tub needs repairs and cleaning. Minimal furniture for comfortable seating.

Bachelorette Trip

The property was easy to find with GPS and was easily accessible from the road. Parking was easy and getting into the house was a breeze with the door code. The house was very clean and well organized. We loved that the kitchen was upstairs which gave us a nice view of the city around us. The floor plan was open and the rooms were very clean. The backyard/courtyard was clean and had ample amount of seating. We loved our stay and would likely stay again!

Beautiful spacious home in great location!

The home was conveniently located in the city center and close to main attractions in New Orleans. The host was very receptive and responsive to our questions and needs during the stay. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for me and my family to have our own room and privacy. As shared with the host, our main concern was the cleanliness, specifically the bathroom, trash in the yard, and dirty floors. However, we packed our own cleaning supplies. The host reported that this concern would be address with the cleaning crew. We really enjoyed having a TV in each room, which is rare in vacation rentals. We would definitely return to the property if available on our next trip to the Big Easy. Don’t hesitate to book this home!

Birthday Trip

Power went out and was told the breaker always does that and to go outside and turn it back on. It kept happening and we were without power over night and half next day and it was freezing. Someone finally showed up to fix and he told us it wasn’t anything he could do. So I had to ask if they had another property and luckily they did but we wasted a whole morning freezing and then moving places which costed more money in uber/lyft rides. The place looked like it hasn’t been cleaned and it’s not in the best condition but we were willing to look past that but we could not get past the no power and couldn’t shower without heat because it was very cold. The property they put us in were better conditions but neighborhood is sketchy and the bar across the street is very noisy all night. I would pick that property over the mint green property anytime.

Solid place to crash during NOLA visit

This property certainly met our needs as all 7 people had their own rooms (2 couples). The hot tub was a huge added bonus. The space was clean and comfortable. Could use a few finishing renovations to really make it amazing. Nothing flashy. Neighborhood is not the greatest, but you could certainly stay somewhere way worse. The hosts were incredible. Constant communication, checking in on our needs. Close proximity to the cable car to get to Bourbon Street. If you need a lot of beds in a fairly central locale, this is certainly a good option.

Some bumps, but overall a good spot

When we showed up, the house was freezing without power and had no water upstairs. The hosts were able to get someone out to fix it within a short amount of time, and we had a great rest of our stay.The house is within walking distance of downtown. There are a ton of good food options nearby .

The stay a was great. Close to everything. Beds were extremely comfortable. The only issue i had with the stay was the furniture( or lack of). For this to be a 5 bed room house there is hardly any sitting room, and what is there is VERY uncomfortable. But we had a great time and can't wait to come back.

It was well renovated and there was plenty of parking! It was a little cold on the bottom floor and the upstairs was a little warm. We made it work but definitely challenging to make everyone happy with the temperature. Loved the bottle of wine they left for us! And the hibachi place on the corner was to die for! Overall loved our stay!

Great location with enough room to spread out

We enjoyed our stay. The location is great! We walked to a nearby streetcar stop. The layout of the house is nice and we enjoyed the hot tub. I would stay here again.

Would have been a perfect stay….

The rental was great for large groups of people the three bedroom and two fulls baths plus one half was ideal. However, we specifically picked this rental for the hot tub but it did not work and I’m not sure how the previous people were able to even use it. When we first arrived, it was dirty and water level was low. We contacted the host (very responsive) and sent someone over to clean. We got back later that day and noticed that the tub had not been filled but it smelled and looked cleaner. As we attempted to fill the hot tub ourselves, water started to pour at the bottom, the water pouring out was even worst when the jets were on. Not sure how long the hot tub has been broken, but the hosts is not being very transparent about the issue. Thankfully they still issued a partial refund. If you’re looking for a place with a hot tub do not depend on this one. Also, check-out/cleaning process was excessive— wanted us to do laundry and dishes and more before check out at 10am - which is insanely early with these expectations. There was also larger amazon packages that got delivered during our stay which was extremely heavy to lift, not sure why we were responsible for that.
