We had a skyline king room on the 30th floor. The room as well as the bathroom was beautiful and the view absolutley amazing. Housekeeping did a wonderdul job each day! Beds are very comfortable. Sadly, the windows do nearly nothing to cancel noise from the outside. Even on the 30th floor we were woken by nightly construction noises from the large construction project (next to the hotel) and blaring sirens and horns. We also heard elevator noises adjacing our bathroom. AC was loud and did not hold a constant temperature. It would run quietly at normal temperature and then blast full-on cold air for many minutes at a time.

Zimmer war für New Yorker Verhältnisse recht groß, die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die nicht verschließbare transparente Milchglas-Rolltür zum Bad-/WC. Straßenlärm ist aufgrund dürftiger Schallisolierung der Fenster immer präsent. Klimaanlage laut.

Die Lage ist einfach genial, mehrere Metro-Linien sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, stylisch eingerichtet und durch die bodentiefen Fenster sehr hell. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

Me and my partner enjoyed our time at the Renaissance. You're located is an area thats pretty much close to whatever you might want to visit. You're literally next to MSG blocks away from Time Squar, Empire State Building, Central Park.The room itself was conformable and did us justice for our stay. Check in was fast and easy. We were in our room in no time!Subway access was a breeze being that theres literally one around the corner. Best Bagel & Coffee is located across the street if you get a chance to go i would highly recommend best bagels and coffee nearby

The staff ignores at the restaurantin site for literary 20 min after being seated and ordering a drink, the server said he'd give me time to order, never came back, I had to call someone over. The hotel itself is nice, clean and in a great location just far and close enough to Times Square

Our stay here was fantastic! The hotel is gorgeous and the staff was so incredibly helpful. Checking in and out was a breeze. Everyone was very friendly. The only slight negative was elevator wait time. But it was New Years in New York so there were lots of people. Hotel was quiet and safe. Bed and shower were both amazing. Would absolutely stay here again.

For the most part, we really enjoyed our stay here. Very close to most attractions, dining & shopping. The restaurant, VERSA, is 1st class. Excellent food for all 3 meals w/very generous portions. Some of our favorite meals were there. The hotel is very modern & the rooms are nice, though there are a few quirky things about them. Our room had no dressers. There's a wardrobe for hanging stuff, but no place to put other things that don't get hung. As a result we had to keep things in the suitcases, but there's little room to even keep the suitcases. The room (2 queen beds) was very small w/little room to walk around without bumping into each other. The bathroom is very "different" too. While it has a nice, modern look, it's not very practical. Bathroom door is a frosted barn like door which slides closed....but the door really isn't shut. It's the equivalent of having a curtain hanging in front of the door opening, thus there's really no privacy. Though this really isn't a hotel issue, per se, our last night there the hotel was hosting the PBR--Pro Bull Riders who were having an event at MSG. They apparently had a party in the restaurant late evening/early morning and the music was deafening throughout the hotel rooms---even as far up as the 17th floor which is where we were. At 1:00 am the music & noise was outrageous. It put a damper on our final night there, esp. since we had to get up at 3:30 am to catch our flight. Liked the place, but may look at other options next time.

When we checked in to our room we found that the heater (AC) was making noises. It took them almost 3 hours to fix. We had to stay out of the room till they finish (it was a complete overhaul of the unit).

We had a wonderful stay here ! Great location , pleasant staff , beautiful facilities. We ended up waiting over two hours for our room to be ready at check in , it was the day before New Year’s Eve so I’m expecting they were probably pretty booked. It was an inconvenience for me and my partner with what we had planned but they upgraded our room to a top floor suite with a balcony and a breathtaking view. They definitely made it right . Would stay again for sure

The hotel is dated. Needs some improving & updating. The elevator situation is a little slow. Lots of waiting in lines of people to get up/down the elevators. The staff, however, is super nice,accommodating and responsive to needs.
