„We indeed enjoyed our stay a lot with so lovely and thoughtful hosts! It was perfect. Located in the calm countryside of Newcastle, it was most suitable for our daily sightseeing trips and provided a wonderful home afterwards. Spacious rooms with a kitchen that provided everything may think off. The kids very much loved the livestock on the property. Everything was so well looked after. Looking forward to coming back soon!“

„Excellent cottage in great location, very close to town but quietly tucked away. Everything you need for a stay, all fixtures and fittings of good quality. Only minor niggle is limited windows that open and shower was very slow to drain otherwise highly recommended.“

„The property was large and was a good base to use being about 20 minutes from a beach and about 10 minutes walk from a park with swings etc for the grandchildren. It was about 5 minutes drive from an Aldi and Lidl. “

„Lovely house with everything you need and we've already booked to stay again in the summer. Owner went the extra mile both in making contact ahead of our stay and also in decorating the house for Easter which was an unexpected but welcome touch. „First time in Newbiggin and enjoyed it, the town has plenty of resources- a corner shop just round the corner and pubs, takeaways, cafes and a couple of restaurants, a small craft ale bar too. There’s going to be a new bar/café opening any day now just over the road down on the beach which will be handy (and as it’s low down shouldn’t cause any problems). The house was as described, newly done out, well equipped with comfy beds and an unblocked sea view. We used it as a base for exploring the ...

„Ein sehr schönes Cottage, fast direkt im Zentrum von Alnwick (fußläufig zu Burg, Gardens, Hauptstraße) gelegen. Stilvolle und trotzdem nutzbare Einrichtung, insbesondere überkomplett ausgestattete Küche. Ein Goodie-Korb und ein erster Pint Milch im Kühlschrank waren sehr willkommen.“

„Lovely house, everything you needed was there. Great base for exploring the area. There was work being done on a new station but it didn’t influence our sleep or anything. Son was very excited about the trains passing by. Beach a short drive away or a walk. Great chip shop/ cafe and shop at the beachfront nearby. Host very helpful, we would recommend to friends. Beautiful decor, plenty of space and great for a family stay.“

„Wir haben unseren zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus mit dem einzigartigen Ausblick sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war stets freundlich mit sehr schnellen Reaktionszeiten. Kleinere Probleme (Backofentür defekt) wurden sofort behoben, d.h. am nächsten Tag bekamen wir einen komplett neuen Ofen eingebaut.“

„Ein perfektes Haus für eine Familie, um Northumberland und darüber hinaus (Edinburgh, Durham etc) zu entdecken. Das Haus war sehr sauber mit schöner geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Es gab absolut nichts, was gefehlt hätte. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! ‐-------‐------------ A great place for a family to discover Notthumberland and beyond. The house was very clean with beautiful interior. Not a single thing was missing. We had a great time!“
