Located in the calm countryside of Newcastle, it was most suitable for our daily sightseeing trips and provided a wonderful home afterwards. Spacious rooms with a kitchen that provided everything may think off. The kids very much loved the livestock on the property. Everything was so well looked after. „After needing a dog friendly base to visit family over the Xmas period, I stumbled across Roxy's cottage online and it was in the ideal location. Set near the countryside and a short walk to the iconic Causey Arch it was perfect for a stroll with the dog through the woods and a paddle in Causey Burn. The accommodation was clean and tidy and ideal for a couple with a small kitchenette with a ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster and utensils. The decor is modern with a very nice bathroom ...

„We really wanted to stay at the cottage There is a glitch in the booking process with Vrbo.. The money was not taken from my account and the link site contacted us saying we had not paid.There was no way to do so on the Verb site and we could not get through to the link site despite spending 2 hours on the phone. We had to cancel. EXACTLY the same thing happened when we tried to rebook. On the Monday we finally got trough to the link site but the whole thing wasted hours of time and caused lots ...
