After staying at the location numerous times in a “standard” room which was inside the main building. My wife and I were placed in the pool area 3 flights of stairs away and left to carry our own bags. AC unit was loud and malfunctioning. Loud pool activity at 8 AM. All offered was a refund of a resort fee. Not our usual pleasant stay. No mention of standard rooms being by the pool upon my booking the reservation. Doubt if we will stay there again.
