Great location which has views of the beach from the front of the property. Parking is limited and is charged on a daily basis, so book in advance. Rooms are small and decor is a little dated and in need of a modern refresh. Mattress was very soft which is not to my liking. TV has streaming services only and small old panels which are just about fit for very casual viewing. Room had an oil heater, which was effective at heating the room.

4 Star & Would Stay Again
Staff friendly and helpful and great nights sleep. Great location. Improvements could be made on the stairs to the hotel rooms, this is one of the 1st things you see and carpet is very warn out, room was fine and clean but wasnt dusted prior to stay. I've given this hotel 4 stars and would stay there again.

Newquay Beach Hotel was excellent, clean, fluffy towels, complimentary Tea & coffee with biscuits, Very helpful staff in fact we booked an extra nights Stay and would definitely book again. Thank you for a nice stay.

Great value for the price
Service is superb! Friendly, positive, helpful - even brought the luggage to the room as there is no elevator! Can not ask for more. Located 10mins from the center… rooms are maintained well and it was clean. The one negative are the beds…. Only small double bed and not very comfortable. For us to stay for one night was great but I would not want to stay 2 weeks there. Overall fair for the price!

Dont book the small single.
The small single was not fit for habitation by an adult. They show pictures of every room but not that one because its so small its claustrophobic. The curtains dont cover the windows and the gaps in the bottom of the door were huge. The window looks straight into someone elses window. The noise in the hotel was more like a lively hostel. The decor and cleanliness were great and the staff were lovely but the size of the room was rediculious.

2 night stay. Good value
3 night stay. All excellent and conformable apart from the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom. Too warm despite air blower. Despite that, good value and looked a lot better than the close by competition.

We couldn’t fault our stay, it was absolutely amazing! The staff were very welcoming and always said hello in passing. The room was tidy and clean, with a fantastic view of the cove! We will definitely be coming back when we return in summer.

Very good location with great views. As it was a quieter night, we had a free upgrade to an ocean view room. Room and hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent at the restaurant. Only reason why its didnt get 5 stars from me, was the room was small and the bed I didnt think was at all comfy. There were also strong winds outside, which continued to whistle loudly through the closed balcony doors all night. Although nothing major, just found it rather annoying.

Good location and lovely breakfast. I was dubious about the cleanliness of the room and the bed was not overly comfortable. The fact the sink was built into the toilet was not ideal either logistically or presentationally. Only way to fill the kettle was with the cup, which was the tiniest cup ever seen.

Perfect in every way
Our stay was so lovely and the hotel is immaculate and so fresh. We loved sitting on our balcony overlooking the beach and just watching the world go by. WE only ate breakfast but it was excellent, especially the eggs Benedict. Will definately stay here again.

Lovely decor. Friendly staff. Mix up at check in and first room wasn’t made, second room smelt like a public toilet in the en suite. Third room smelt of cat urine. Lovely decor all through although a little tired.

Basics need sorting
The restaurant and desk areas were well maintained and very chic. Lovely breakfast generally. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Sadly let down by the poor quality mattress and very small hot stuffy room. Although we were given a fan it made little difference and too noisy to leave windows open

Ticked the box
Booked a single room not really knowing what to expect. I just needed a comfy bed for the night , Wi fi , shower ,easy parking and a good breakfast . Got all of that bar the easy parking. Single room was very small but if you literally need bed for the night it was fine . Could not book the hotel parking so used the car park by the Police station. It was quite expensive to cover the evening parking but only 5 mins walk away . The staff were very friendly , standard of decor good , everywhere was clean and the room had nice little touches like Hot choc , bottle of water and toiletries etc.. Breakfast was very nice and the Wi Fi constant . All in all good value and a great location on the sea front .

New hotel stands out as one of Newquay's best
Newquay Beach Hotel has recently benefited from an extensive revamp and this is reflected in the hotel's highj calibre facilities. All the staff were extremely friendly and keen to ensure every need was attended to. A lovely boutique hotel experience with superb cooked breakfasts one of the highlights in the sea view restaurant.

A disappointing experience
The room was small which I expected as..a solo. However I did not expect the cheap and very small desk and table (IKEA) Siting the wash basin over the toilet was stupid. There was no towel rail either. Not worthy of a 2 star hotel let alone any more

Beautiful hotel, fantastic facilities in room and bar restaurant areas. Best breakfast we have had by a hotel in presentation and variety. Staff were very attentive to us both as residents and guests at the wedding held on site. The hotel staff handled the wedding party extremely well and the food provided was wonderful. A great stay.

Mixed fortunes
We had a four day break for Easter. The hotel was near to the sea front on a corner location. We were surprised to pay for parking (£5 per day) as nothing was mentioned on the web browser or the hotel web page about this. There were 5 spaces in the front car park, 4-5 down the side of the hotel and three behind the hotel. We squeezed into one of rear spaces. I am somewhat peeved about the car park charge because all of the work to create the car park has been done so that the daily charge is pure profit. Also, we were told that we should have pre-booked to car park space. Again, no mention of this on the web sites. It's worthwhile to call the hotel and sort this out before your arrival. The hotesal iself was smart and exceptionally clean; the decor is glitzy if you like that sort of thing. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Our room was an L shape with the bed dominating the room and leaving a small corridor at the end of which was the wardrobe. Again, everything including the bathroom was clean and well maintained. However, there was a distinct shortage of shelves and reading lights were absent. Overall it was a bit cramped. We ate in the dining room on our first night. The food was beautiful albeit quite pricey but it was value for money. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice for both a full English and continental options. There was a wedding held on one of the nights of our stay which was very noisy quietened down at about 11 pm. VFM.

Splendid
Bit put off initially as hotels.com stated 12pm check in, when we got there just after, they wanted to charge us an early check in fee as check in not until 3pm, but they waived it as hotel was quiet. Lovely hotel, great staff and food. A la carte breakfast included. Comfortable and well kept room. Definitely stay there again.
