« Very poor 'welcome' from the receptionist. She seemed miserable and dis-interested. She also could not find our pre-booked details initially and then when she did, tried to charge us an additional £75 even though we had paid in full. On the plus side, the room was very good. Very clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. Only two teabags on the tray, which was either an oversight or just a bit mean. »

« The staff were very helpful and accommodating, assisting with calling taxis and holding luggage. The included breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the only drawback was it ended at 9:00am. Our shared family room was a nice size with two televisions and good wifi but in the height of summer it got a little warm. The location is beautiful and relaxing. »

« The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks. »

« This lovely old inn/B&B is in an excellent location in the middle of Bovey Tracey. Our room, a twin, was really clean and plenty big enough. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The breakfast is great with lots of choice and we also ate in the pub in the evenings and the food was lovely. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay there again. »

« Lovely old building with nice staff and excellent food. Parking can be a problem and the tv system is on satellite and hardly ever works. But definitely a lovely hotel and we would return. »
