« My kids and I had the BEST time staying in this adorable farmhouse. We spent time outside on the porch swing and chair, the fire pit out back, and playing the games provided by the family. We didn't touch our electronic devices once! Our favorite part was eating breakfast every morning at the kitchen table and looking out the window at the scenery. The fruit and snacks provided by the family from their farm was the perfect touch. We will definitely be back here again, hopefully in the fall! WELL...

« The property was awesome! Beautiful old farmhouse steps from the battlefield, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Check-in was easy, and was granted a late check- out when requested. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a true Gettysburg experience! »

« It was the most stunning surprise as we walked into this richly decorated, most beautiful home. Check in and communication with the host ensured ease of the process. We took full advantage of the fully equiped home and and kitchen and never left after our arrival as we ate meals in the garden and dinner in the dining room. The beds are so comfortable and the sheets were top quality. We enjoyed the weekend so much we are booking for next year. »

« Beautiful and spacious property. We used this for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding pictures, bridal suite, etc. it had plenty of room for out of town family and friends. The kids appreciated the outside area and game room. The upstairs rooms were a little warm at night, could use a few fans! Plenty of space and utensils in kitchen. Enough towels and blankets. « The Happy Hen was the perfect spot for my wife and I and our two children, aged 10 and 6. Minutes away from the battlefield, with a very convenient Dollar General just down the road, the HH was cozy and delightful. We intend to stay again in the future. »
