« The place was very new, clean, comfortable, quiet & relaxing. Great location, too. Basically right next to the north entrance of Itasca State Park where we spent our time. After a long day of exploring & hiking, we looked forward to relaxing back at our room, sleeping in comfortable beds with A/C & running water. To us it was the best way to go “camping”. « House was accurately listed, the smiling water tower even greets you when you open the front door. Had all the amenities and very new. Back yard is fenced, there is street noise like most hotels in the area, but owner provided noise machines. We’d stay again. »

« Excellent stay at Loon Lodge. We had a great time even though we couldn't find the fish. Loved the house. Fantastic setup and enjoyed the beach. We definitely will book again if we return to Leech Lake in the coming years. »

« Booked the property only a week before our visit. Super convenient access to the north entrance of Itasca State park.Some items of note: the bathroom door latch did not latch. The pillows kept falling down in the space under the headboard. The water pressure in the shower was only so-so at best. The temperature was very good. Lots of space in the unit - girlfriend suggested a small chest of drawers to unpack stuff into. We did have great interaction with Christine (owner) at the next door ice...

« My brother and I took our sons on a fishing trip and stayed at Rivers Edge Victorian Inn. The accommodations fit us perfectly: comfortable space to stretch out, a stocked kitchen, well-appointed and cleaned, easy access with a boat and trailer, spacious lawn with a campfire setting along the river. We would come again, and the fishing was great in early June. »

« This lovely little motel was exactly what we needed, a home base while we explored & hiked, visited w friendly locals & ate great walleye. Christine was quick & easy to communicate with, and our room was squeaky clean! »

« Was a beautiful place. Very accommodating and had everything you needed and then some. Wished we could have stayed longer. Property was extremely clean, beach and dock made for nice sunset viewing. Plenty of wood for fire pit on beach. The directions to the property were spot on. I'm seriously considering renting it out next summer again!! « Cabin was better than the photos. It was immaculately clean and well stocked. The owners were easy to work with. The lake water was clear and clean with a shallow sandy beach right outside. We had a campfire one night with s’mores and listened to the loons. The hammock on the screened-in porch was a popular spot! It was the quintessential Minnesota Up North relaxing vacation. »
