Idéale pour des vacances reposantes, cette maison de vacances confortable, spacieuse et charmante offre une vue spectaculaire sur un magnifique parc à daims où paissent des cerfs et des daims, un paradis pour la faune sauvage à seulement 9 km de la belle côte nord de Norfolk. Le parc abrite un lac d'observation de la pêche et des oiseaux, ainsi qu'un réseau de sentiers à explorer. Un excellent restaurant est également accessible à pied. Le Deer Park Cottage jouxte la ferme des propriétaires du XVIIIe siècle et se trouve à seulement 3 km du magasin du village de Roughton et de la gare de Gunton et à 9 km des attractions balnéaires de Cromer. Blickling et Felbrigg Halls (tous deux du National Trust) sont à proximité et les Broads sont facilement accessibles. Magasinez à 2 miles, le pub Gunton Arms avec restaurant à distance de marche .. A very well equipped cottage in the middle of a large deer park.

A very well equipped cottage in the middle of a large deer park.Walking in the park available from your door, also a large fishing lake for use of residents.Short drive to Sheringham and Cromer etc. Very popular pub within a short drive or 15min walk from cottage.Very friendly owners and management staff on hand for any problems that arise. It’s unfair to write a real review as we booked a 3 night stay but only stayed one night due to the extreme weather and power outage. However it’s a great location, very nice a clean cottage, we just wished we could have used it for the 3 nights. The owner did make us aware of the weather and power outage before we arrived but was hoping it would be on by 9pm. It’s wasn't back at 9:30 am when left. That was down to the store no fault of the cottage. The whole area had no power after one of the worst storms seen in the area for many years. We will rebook next year as it’s lovely and the area looks beautiful. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What a fantastic location! Set in the beautiful surroundings of the park, it's easy to shut yourself away from the world for a few days. We had a warm welcome our first day, but were then left to our own devices. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, clean and tidy, and it was wonderful being able to curl up in front of the open fire. If you want to escape the world for a few days, this is the perfect place.

the deer park is an interesting, peaceful and relaxing place to stay, we would consider returning ne

the deer park is an interesting, peaceful and relaxing place to stay, we would consider returning next summer. However there are some negative aspects which must be considered by those who do not live in a country setting : the kitchen area is old and worn with cobwebs around glasses and crockery on shelves, there is a good number of the larger type of garden spider inhabiting the cottage. The cattle grids would deter anyone driving a small car. the "fishing lake" is so shallow that it cannot possibly contain a good head of fish making the cost of preparation, licence, materials etc a complete waste of time.
