Overall, enjoyed my stay. Mine was just a End of Summer getaway. Would highly recommend arriving before dark; the final road there is moderately steep uphill, on gravel, and uneven in spots.
Never needed my 4WD, but i wasn't towing anything; glad i had it tho. Any good downpour of Rain(/Snow) would have pressed that into mandatory. Luckily, nothing but sunshine my entire stay. House Parking is downhill but easy.
House is small & cozy, which was exactly what i was looking for. Bed1 was a bit bouncy? but after hiking trails & hitting the lake all day, i barely noticed. The big Grass area right across the road made all my dog walks supereasy.
House interior did have an unexpected "No Shoes" rule for the woodfloors; sock yourself accordingly. Water pressure goes from ok to weak for a few minutes when toilets flush, but was fine once you knew.
Backdeck was great for enjoying coffee/meals, or just staring off in the distance pondering life's mysteries. Has a table/chairs umbrella for a little bit of cover. Got lucky, neighbors at the next house over were very quiet & barely made a peep. Saw some random wildlife saunter thru the lower property as well.
Theres a binder with basic instructions/tips for the house & the area that was useful. Maintenance and Housekeeping were all nice/responsive, which was appreciated.
House is just ok, but proximity to all the best stops is Excellent. minutes from everything i wanted to hit while i was enjoying the Lake Area.
