Perfect Getaway Weekend
What an awesome little GEM at the perfect location... Everything we needed and more was provided. Felt lik your home away from home. Big enough foulr our group of friends and family and stil ample room foe kiddies to have fun. Board games and entertainment for kiddies provided... This was the first weekend in ages where phones wasnt our priority. Thanks this was exactly what we needed and ao much more... From the booking prosess to the checkout point was easy as pie.. We will definitely book again. Enjoyed every bit of our stay👏

Location is walkable to town, plenty of off street parking for our motorbikes, firewood was welcomed, everything we needed. Would stay here again - thanks!

Great value house 5 minutes walk from Ohakune shops. Sleeps 16 with a decent sized living area. Owners were quick to respond to messages.

Good place for a group stay
We have enjoyed our stay there as a group, lots of beds. Missed my morning coffee as it was not provided. We were charged extra for cleaning even after leaving the property in a reasonable condition.

Thanks for your feedback. Fortunately the cleaner forwarded me a picture of how you left the stove. It was disgusting. You left your rubbish behind. I would have thought that coffee would be part of your groceries that you would bring yourself. We gave you a comprehensive list of what we supply for you in the welcome email ie tea, sugar, detergent, dishwasher powder, tea towels, prepaid refuse bag, firelighters, matches plus what we provided for the bathroom/showers/toilets.

Great stay for lots of people!
Absolutely loved our stay here! Very surprised at the cleanliness of the house. The showers were great, amazing pressure and very clean. Very impressed with the modern appliances in the kitchen (loved the toaster!) Great appliances and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy enough. The house was cold to start with but the fire warmed it up well! Overall great stay, would definitely be back!

Extended family holiday
We stayed here with a large group of adults/kids the location is excellent a couple of minutes walk to Ohakune centre. The property is older style but the layout is suitable for large groups with seperate showers/toilets/wash basins. The kitchen was nice and looked newly updated. There was not internet at the property but we just used our own data on our phones.

Family fun
The house was perfectly situated...close to the town and short drive to both ski fields. It was lovely and warm and a great size for our extended family. The unique bathroom and shower rooms actually worked very well. My whole family had very positive thoughts about our holiday and are thinking of next year already.

Such a well set up property had so much space for us . we traveled with ourselves and another family and both families had teenagers and young children the space worked great to accommodate all of us. great location super warm and cosey we loved it.

the pictures don't do the place justice. Jeanette and Owen have been both responding and very accommodating for minor requests. The fire place is fantastic! Will definitely be back if given the opportunity!

The place was well equipped, beautiful cozy home. Owners are very friendly. Good amenities, handy location, close to the shops, the mountains, church etc. Rooms were spacious and comfy. Having wifi would be a bonus point😊 Highly recommend this place. Will definitely visit again.
