« This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather. »

« If you are looking to stay in a traditional English Pub, this is the place. Cozy rooms with great washroom facilities. Very clean and comfortable beds. « Tucked away in a quiet little corner of the bay I wasnt sure what to expect. The inn is lovely, clean and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, and couldnt have been more helpful. The food and drink on offer were delicious. The room was great, well appointed and perfectly clean and tidy. I will definitely return! »

« nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit, mais le propriétaire et le personnel étaient très sympathiques et arrangeants. la nourriture était très bonne et le chef était d’un caractère très agréable, et nous avons adoré les chiens de la maison 🐕. »

« The Globe is a great pub/ bed and breakfast. The room we had was large and clean with a en-suite shower room. The breakfast was excellent and you can choose what you like from their cooked breakfast list the night before.The village of Buckfastleigh is very nice and you have the Abbey and moors on your doorstep. Great value. »

« Le store du velux laisse entrer la lumiere qui commence a 4h du matin en Angleterre en ete, mais nous etions deja reveilles car on entendait clairement les ronflements de la chambre d`a cote, et a ce propos, l'isolation phonique etait tellement mauvaise qu'on croyait avoir des fois les voisins dans notre chambre/S.d.B. En ouvrant le velux, toutes les odeurs de la ventilation de la cuisine entraient dans la chambre car c'etait juste en face. Le long cheveu qui n'etait pas le notre est reste...

« One of the comfiest beds I have stayed in lovely big shower. The food was magnificent.A lot of choice of local produce perfectly cooked and coped wonderfully with my allergies. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were so friendly safe car park situated in lovely village with with beautiful dark skies for viewing the stars nice and peaceful we will be back »
