Great little guesthouse
Kamma guest house is very nice, the team super friendly and helpful. The location is great and they have a beautiful rooftop where they serve great breakfast.

Tolle Atmosphäre und toller Ausblick
Wir haben zwei Nächte im Kamma Guest House verbracht, um von dort unseren Ausflug zum Machu Picchu zu starten. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer kleinen gepflasterten Straße. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Betreuung war sehr fürsorglich und informativ. Wir haben bereits bei Ankunft alle wichtigen Informationen zu Ollantaytambo und unseren Ausflug zum Machu Picchu erhalten. Die Zimmer sind nicht groß, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und gemütlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf der Dachterrasse hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Dorf und die Ruinen. Wir haben kein anderes Hotel mit solch einer Terrasse gesehen. Auf der Dachterrasse bekommt man morgens auch sein Frühstück serviert. Dieses ist klein, aber fein. Alles wird frisch zubereitet. Zu jederzeit kann man sich kostenlos frischen Coca-Tee zubereitet. Das Kamma Guest House ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen - eine Reise dorthin lohnt sich.

Great stay!
We found our stay at Kamma Hotel very enjoyable. The hotel is brand new and very clean. The view over the ruins is memorable! Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The only tiny downside is that our room was bit too small, but that's it.

Entspannter Zwischenstop
Eigentlich wollte ich von Cuzco aus nach Machu Picchu fahren. Aber da die Bahn zwischen Cuzco und Ollantaytambo nicht fuhr, entschloss ich mich zu einer Übernachtung im Kamma Guest House. Das war eine gute Entscheidung. Ollantaytambo ist ein sehr angenehmer Ort, weit entfernt von dem Trubel in Cuzco. Hier machen fast nur junge Leute Station, sehr angenehme Athmosphäre, nette Lokale (zwar etwas unprofessionell, aber das macht ja gerade den Reiz aus). Die "Altstadt" mit ihren autofreien Gassen ist sehr schön. Und dann geht man zu Fuß zum Bahnhof um nach Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) zu fahren. Alles sehr entspannt.

Kamma Guest House was top on my list of places I stayed in Peru. The rooms are cozy, the beds are firm and comfy, the showers are hot with good pressure and it’s peaceful. Despite being close to the canal, the sound of the water was actually pretty relaxing. Having a delicious breakfast at the terrace with a view of Ollantaytambo was amazing. Above all, the hospitality was exceptional. Liz made our stay truly memorable.

The property owner was very nice and accomadating. We were late because of flight cancels but she was awake until midnight we come and made sure we checked in. The breakfast is excellent, authentic and fresh. Loved our entire stay. Cant say enough good things about this place. Their 2 dogs negrito and chicho greet everyone.

We LOVED Kamma House! Liz and Paola were so welcoming and helpful with everything - maps and recommendations, laundry service (!), even arranging a porter and then a driver to get us safely back to Cusco. The bedding was so cozy and the little veranda was an added surprise. Breakfast is served on the rooftop deck overlooking the Pinkalluna granaries in one direction and the sun temple ruins on the other. It is a divine way to start the day. I definitely recommend Kamma House!

Hotel simples porém muito aconchegante. Possui funcionários muito atenciosos que te deixam à vontade como se estivesse na sua casa. Dão dicas ótimas sobre o lugar. No terraço onde tomamos café da manhã tem uma vista excelente do Templo do sol. Não passa carro nem tuk tuk na porta do hotel, porém é muito próximo da praça e os funcionários te buscam na praça se for preciso. Como é um local onde se vai de mochila não há problemas nem necessidade de carro.

Kamma Guest House is a lovely place to stay, close to the quaint main square and restaurants. Liz is an amazing host, very warm and welcoming, and was more than happy to assist us when we had a hiccup with our travel plans. The view from breakfast was so peaceful and looks over the ruins. Thank you Liz for a very enjoyable stay, we will be back one day!

Absolute gem in the sacred valley
Amazing hosts, super clean and comfortable, great blend of a well run hotel vs a charming b&b. From the moment you stepped thru the doors you get a very warm and personalized welcome followed by the fastest check in process. The room was immaculate and while small it uses the space well so you have enough flat surfaces for things and even a small balcony. If you are a couple with lots of luggage you may not find this to be the right situation but for those who travel light and don’t need to sit around the room much it’s the one for you.

Amazing property and owner. Incredible breakfast on the rooftop, overlooking Ollantaytambo. The main ruins are accessible via a gate that is literally 10 feet away from the front door. Ask Lis about the “museum”, 2 blocks away, where you can eat and drink inside a pre-Incan structure that is perhaps 1,000 years old, 500 years older than Machupicchu

Stayed at Kamma Guest House for two days during our trip to Machu Picchu. We checked out and left our luggages on the 2nd day when we went to Machu Picchu. And we came back again on the 3rd days for another night. We really fueled that we were home when Back to Kamma Guest House. Liz is very kindness and helpful. She given our suggestions about what to do in Ollantaytabmo. We are very enjoyed time we were in the town. I would like to come back again if I had chance come to Ollantaytabmo. I highly recommend it!

A memorable stay
Stayed at Kamma Guest House for two days and truly enjoyed our stay. The place is very cozy, clean, on a quite street yet very convenient location. Liz communicated so well prior to our trip as well as during our stay. She helped me booked a private transportation from Cusco airport and we customized the trip down to Ollantaytambo based on her recommendation and our situation. When our car arrived, Liz met us and helped with our luggage. Breakfast was also great. On the last day of our stay, we needed to check out ahead of the normal breakfast time. Liz even got up earlier and prepared hearty breakfast for us. Kamma Guest House is very professionally managed and I highly recommend it! Actually already recommended to my friends.

Amazing views and friendly staff!
I highly recommend staying here! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the views of the ruins are fantastic, especially from the top floor terrace.

As much as I like to support the small businesses, I have to say that I was disappointed with my stay with this property. The property is just very basic with small room and small bathroom. Very bare basic nothing else. Particularly I'm not happy with the fact that the host overcharged the transportation and tour (you could literally get better cars with less than the half price from the main square and/or train station).

Could not have asked for a better stay in Ollantaytambo. The woman who runs the hotel is extremely nice and informative and made our stay incredible. She made us feel at home and recommended great things to eat and see. 10/10 would recommend!

Highly recommend! The woman working there was so warn and accomodating. Brought hot tea to my room without me asking. She also packed me breakfast, walked me to the main plaza and helped me catch a tuk tuk to the train station at 4am.

Excellent guest house in a beautiful alley
Ollantaytambo is beautiful. so glad that we picked this guest house. the free hiking trail is in front of this place. We were the only two guests staying there. So luxury lol two friendly ladies cooked breakfast for us in the morning. Great view from their rooftop. Room is small but we got two beds. Love the balcony and creek on the side. Such a beautiful and peaceful setting. One lady spoke pretty good English and took good care of us. Thanks so much for everything!
