1st time using Vrbo. Booked week in advance. Reached out to owners several times. Had ZERO response up to arrival day. 1 hour outside of Omaha & had NO communication or check-in info. Felt very uncomfortable arriving in evening as a single mom traveling w/ a child. Spent 45 min on phone with Vrbo support that owner was completely MIA. They finally reached them by phone (Casey & Tiffany) & connected me to Tiffany. Shared my frustration on having NO info and spending 45 mins w/ support just to hear from her. She told me "life happens" & "I needed to move past it". I said I would expect an apology, not deflection. Told her I was single mom w/ a child arriving late & had to pull over on interstate several times to safely talk w/ support. She said,"Well, I have 2 kids in my car now, too". She said she would text me the info. She was SO rude & acted like it was my fault. Finally, she abruptly said, "THEN STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE." And HUNG UP ON ME! I was in complete disbelief. 20 mins later, still NO text w/ info. Had to call support BACK another 45 mins. Now I didn't even know if we had a place stay. Son crying in back scared they would be mean to us when arriving. FINALLY texted me info. Refused to give an apology or discount. Disgusting "customer service" & way to treat another human. They never gave me WiFi info so we had to go somewhere else. Room was tidy but not same room in pics. Toilet clogged. Ants in kitchen. Outside door unlocked overnight.
