Picture the kids in your own screened pool while you put your feet up after a day at the parks. This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home sleeps 8 at gated Windsor Palms Resort in Kissimmee, about 5 miles from Disney's Animal Kingdom and 9 from Magic Kingdom. Your private game room has a pool table, ping-pong and darts. At the resort clubhouse you also get a large pool, hot tub, movie theater, arcade, fitness room and tennis courts, all included in your stay.

THE POOL
Step out from the living room to a screened pool and sun deck, with loungers and a table for meals outside. Hedges beyond the screen keep it private, so it is yours for a quiet coffee before the parks or a swim after the fireworks. For families with little ones, there is a safety fence between the house and the pool.

A GAME ROOM FOR THE EVENINGS
Your private game room has a pool table, a ping-pong table and a dartboard. It is where the family ends up when nobody is ready for bed.

ROOM FOR EIGHT
Four bedrooms and two bathrooms, all on the ground floor:
- Bedroom 1: king bed, with its own private bathroom
- Bedroom 2: queen bed
- Bedroom 3: full bed
- Bedroom 4: two twin beds, with a few Disney touches the kids will spot first

KITCHEN AND LIVING
The living room opens onto the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped, with stainless-steel appliances, a dishwasher and a Keurig coffee maker. There is a dining table for six and a breakfast table by the window. You also have a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

GETTING IN
You check in on your own with a private door code, which we send you before you arrive, so there is no desk to queue at and no key to collect. Our local team looks after the home, and you can message us through Vrbo during your stay. For an emergency at any hour, there is an on-call number.

WINDSOR PALMS RESORT
The resort clubhouse has a large pool and hot tub, a poolside tiki bar, a movie theater, a video arcade, a fitness room, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, and a children's playground. The resort has a staffed gate at the entrance. The clubhouse facilities are run by Windsor Palms Resort, and their opening hours can change.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Pool heating is optional: $35 a night, with a 4-night minimum. Message us before you arrive if you would like it.
- The home does not come with a grill, but you can rent a gas grill for your stay: $80 a week for a two-burner grill ($15 for each extra day) or $115 a week for a four-burner grill ($20 for each extra day), plus tax, delivered with a full propane tank.
- You arrive to a starter supply of coffee, soap, shampoo and conditioner, dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, trash bags and bathroom tissue. For a longer stay you will want to top these up.
- Smoking is allowed outside only, on the driveway or the pool deck.
