We had 3 couples and another guest (single guest was there for a week) The remainder of the group was there for a month. We truly enjoyed our stay - one little thing was the lack of a closet in the master (they provided a small cabinet with a hanging bar) the closet in this master was locked. The other master had no dresser just a desk. We stayed for a month so this information would have been helpful - there were other closets/dressers we used so we made due, however if the house had been full it would have been an issue. The house itself was in relatively good shape, a few minor things could use just a little TLC and the pool/spa were perfect. The lanai was nicely furnished with 2 tables and chairs and additional lounges. We loved the layout of the house and the two living spaces - plenty of room to spread out. We have rented in this same area for 4 years now and love the area. We will be back to the area again.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. We had a few problems but the management company was quick to respond. The pool was nice, the heat didn’t work till the last 2 days but they kept us updated on the repairs and seemed to do their best to get it fixed. We were fully refunded for the pool heat which was nice. The spa does heat up nicely and the pool was clean. The house is large and has 2 lounging areas. All of the rooms have a tv. We had a toddler and all of the tables are glass so be aware if you have small children. There is fun Disney art and 2 themed bedrooms. The toddler was really happy to sleep in a Mickey room. There is a screened in balcony overlooking the pool that we enjoyed. Also games in the garage. Overall we had a really great trip!

Spacious and Comfortable Villa with Great Pool - A Few Updates Would Make it Perfect

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious Champions Gate villa, offering excellent value for our holiday. The management team provided comprehensive information before our arrival & was responsive to our needs during the stay, addressing our TV issue promptly. The villa's layout is fantastic, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. We particularly appreciated the extremely comfortable beds, which ensured restful nights after long days of activities. The pool area became our favourite spot, with the heated spa adding an extra touch of luxury to our evenings (though unfortunately, the jets stopped working during Thanksgiving weekend). While the property is well-maintained & clean, a few small updates would elevate the experience further. The kitchen could benefit from additional glassware and replacing some chipped dinnerware. A few more towels would also be convenient for pool use. The entry system, while secure, could use clearer instructions about the black disk sensor for first-time visitors. It's worth noting that the Champions Gate area has become significantly busier over the past decade both getting around the area & travelling to the attractions. The villa's strengths outweigh any minor suggestions for improvement. While we might explore different areas of Orlando for future visits due to local traffic this was purely a location preference rather than a reflection on the property itself. Ideal for: Families seeking a spacious, comfortable base

Family short break holiday to Orlando

Five days in Orlando, having been to Washington DC in the 5 days before. Communication with the team looking after the house was good and the details sent through in advance were timely and clear. The house was lovely. Exactly what we had hoped for. The kitchen was very well equipped, the pool was warm and the bedrooms were very comfortable. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

Nice but could have been much better

Property itself has a nice layout and lots of potential. Unfortunately it is very dated and in need of some tlc. Needs new carpets as they were heavily stained throughout. The air con doesn't function properly compared with similar properties and time of year and temperature. The pool area has metal furniture which has rusted and isn't pleasant to use. Spa jets don't work properly but pool is a nice size. We did contact the managing agent and some of the issues were fixed immediately like the cleanliness and the pool lights not working and some of the door problems we had, so great marks for the speed and ease of contacting the maintenance team who were lovely.. but this properly really needs a lot of work on it, which sadly made the stay not as good as it should have been. Area is still nice on this estate. 7 out of 10, but could easily have been a 9 or a 10 if the owners invested some cash in keeping it functioning correctly and looking nice.

Rooms were clean, and beds comfortable. Most dishes, pots, cutlery, etc. were on hand. Disappointed that there was no mention of Access card for community pool. Didn't get one till last day. There was no table outside to dine on in the pool area. No glass ware was to be taken to pool area, but no plastic cups, etc. was anywhere on site. Ad should also mention a Keurig is in kitchen. The pads on the lounge chairs were disgusting, and should be replaced.

I was very happy with the house the only complaint was I paid for heat for the pool and hot tub and the pool never got warm 72 highest and the hot tub only got up to 90. While that is fine if its 90 degrees it's to cold for 50 degree mornings.

Was good-could have been better!

House was clean but the interior door and trim throughout was thick in dust and dirt. To make this house better it needs painted throughout which includes doors and trim. Carpet needs to be gone. Sofa in family room is totally worn out. Stove and dishwasher could be replaced. We had a couple of issues and the management company had someone to the house within 2 hours. Neighborhood. All in all we enjoyed ourself!!

House was located in a nice location, 30 minutes to Disney. House needs work carpet needs restretched at top of stairs and in one bedroom, ants were in a bathroom and in the laundry room, which they sent someone out for. No room for 3 vehicles to park. Finally after waiting all day for a response had to call the emergency number to find out where to park 3rd vehicle. House needs to be deep cleaned a lot of dust on baseboards and in corners, leather couch in main living room needs replaced sagging and poor condition. Pool heater was NOT turned on upon my arrival pool was ice cold. Got that turned on so all was good. Overall would stay again if the issues were taken care of. House just needs a little tic.

Needs Cleaning

The pool was the best part of this property, very relaxing and well kept. This was not the case with the rest of this home. As a person who enjoys a very clean and well kept home, the stay in this property was very stressful due to the obvious lack of care given to cleaning this property. The carpet was not vacuumed well at all - there was visible dirt and debris on the carpet throughout the house. The carpet had several stains on it throughout the house as well. The shower curtain liner in one of the upstairs bathrooms was filthy and in need of replacement. It was obvious the bathroom mats had not been washed prior to our arrival in any of the bathrooms. The washing machine was growing black mold in the silicone ring that seals the door shut and had an offensive odor. We found ants twice inside the microwave during our week long stay - even after they had sent pest control out the first time. There were tiny ants in the two small bathrooms upstairs throughout our stay. There is signage in the kitchen that pests are a natural hazard of staying in Florida - one of the ladies in our group has lived in Florida previously and never had issues with ants, so this seems to be an issue specific to this home. I would not recommend staying at this house and spent a majority of my stay regretting my decision to book this property.

Rude Owner to my wife

When we arrived check in was great. My daughter said the dryer is broke. My wife contacted Phil to let him know the dryer was broke. He started out by saying he didnt known the dryer was broke. Then he switched up and got mad because my wife had spoke with him numerous times and he never said the dryer was broke. His tone to my wife was rude and disrespectful. He know the dryer was broke because he said they ordered parts. She let him know he over charged us to heat the pool also. Phil got offended and told us to leave his property. I tried to speak with Phil to explain that his property is not up to part and he hung up on me and sent us a nasty message to get out his home. We drove 10 hours to be disrespected by this hateful host. He told us to get out immediately. Then he sent us a nasty message on vrbo, stating this his home for us to get out. The couch was broke, the dryer was broke, Phil stated you have 20 towels, he overcharged us to heat the pool, the gameroom was nasty. The sheets were worn and towels looked like rags. My family have never experienced a hostile host.

We arrived and found a note on the dryer stating it was out of order. I contacted the management company and was told they were waiting for a part. This was the last communication from the management company, I had to spend a morning in the middle of the week at the laundromat. I sent a message on Thursday morning because the pool water was not being heated, the management company never responded. Saturday morning the pool water was being heated again but we had to check-out.

Vacation 2022 Part 2

Checking in to the house was quick and simple. We had a couple of minor issues at the beginning of the stay but the owner/manager responded very quickly and resolved the issue promptly. Was very nice to have all the room for the 5 of us. Spa was nice to relax in after a long day at the parks.

Never book with this host

The host was very rude and not helpful and was very unprofessional. I would suggest booking with someone else. We did take pictures to make sure that we left it in the same condition and he is one of those host that make up charges . We were down in FL during the hurricane and asked for assistance days before and day before with no help. He was to concerned about his guest , only himself and he said over and over again he had over 40 places and couldn’t help everyone . He called me mental or that I had a mental condition over and over because I called him out on his lack of help. I have never been treated by anyone this way. He treated me like since I was a women I was less then him. He also said I was a professional travel that likes to just take advantage . Not true as I do not travel much and when I do I have never once had a stay like this. The host have been nothing but amazing. Until this stay. I also informed him of the door coming off the henge and with a hurricane you think you would come fix it. As he stated he only lives 10 mins away and never came to fix it. There was a broken toilet seat I reported also. side notes they have lots of ants so be careful if you do stay and cockroaches climbing in the kitchen area. But again the worst part is the treatment, I have every word saved that he said to me. And remember to take pictures before and after so he doesn’t make up stuff that you did that isn’t true. Glad I covered my bases!

Great house with everything you could ever want in a house

The property manager was really attentive, he contacted us to let us know the pool pump wasn't working, we hadn't even noticed and was fixed the following day, great service. The home is in a gated community which was spotless and very quiet, we hardly saw anybody, the house is large and has everything you could need, the kitchen had every electronic gadget known to mankind, there wasn't anything we needed. The Wifi was really fast, we are from the UK and like to watch USA TV in the evening to relax, main living area TV was massive with Cable, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Pool was great, overall we cannot fault the house and we enjoyed our vacation in it.
