Repas et petit-déjeuner excellent et copieux. La chambre 1 était parfaite et propre. Une salle de bain spacieuse et un fer et une table à repasser! Très pratique. Calme malgré la proximité de la route. Et une petite court aménagée à l'arrière très mignonne ! Bref, que du bonheur d'avoir découvert et séjourné dans ce charmant hôtel. »

« Tucked away in unspoilt countryside . It was indeed a warm, cosy double. Soft muted colours, furry blankets, gorgeous comfortable bed. Felt immediately at home' . The garden with twinkling lights and restaurant decoration are charming and food first class. We canx our booking due to an unforeseen hospital stay but could then make it and staff handled this effectively- thank you . We loved it and will be back. Thank you so much x »

« We were directly above the bar which had loud music until 1.30 am Easter Saturday night , so unable to sleep before 2 am . Guess we should have joined the party but we were too tired to do so . Apart from that ,the room and services were ok but you wouldn't want to pay more for these standards . »

« We had to be in Oxfordshire for the funeral of a very special friend and came across the Red Lion in our search for accommodation for a couple of days. Our experience was excellent - the room was fine and very comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent menus. But the main comment is how brilliant your staff were - they made our visit so much more agreeable than it might have been. »

« The inn is very clean and lots of space in the lobbies and back garden. Beautiful location and right in the center of the village. The staff is exceptionally helpful from the front desk to the cleaning crew, all are friendly and attentive! »

« A wonderful welcome and our room was lovely. The dining area was busy with both residents and local people. The menu offered a good variety and food arrived very hot and well presented. We wouldn’t hesitate to return but would advise that the age of the building means that stairs are very steep and the floors are uneven. »
