The property was good with a nice view, however my interactions with the property manager were horrible.
The listing that I made my reservation under had pictures of a large jacuzzi tub in the house. This was a major factor in choosing to rent this property as all four adults were very excited to get a chance to relax and feel better.
Upon checking in and going through the house there was no jacuzzi tub, there was a soaking tub. I contacted the property manager to ask why there was no jacuzzi tub in the house as pictured and was told that the listing says "soaking tub".
I directed the property manager to look at the listing of the property that clearly shows a jacuzzi tub. After about an hour of waiting for a reply, I got the response "I just went through the photos on our website and it does not show that. It shows a regular tub and a standalone soaking tub." After receiving my concern they went back and changed the photos for the listing and tried to pretend that there was no mistake.
I understand that mistakes happen, and uploading the wrong photo is always possible. If the property manager had just admitted there was a mistake and offered to work with me to find a resolution I wouldn't be upset. Instead, they tried to cover their tracks and pretend there was never any problem, even after I explained that I had taken screenshots of the jacuzzi tub in the listing.
This deceptive, unethical and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, I feel cheated and insulted. Haven Hill cannot be trusted to treat people well, avoid this property at all costs.
