Hotel Pakuba

« Location, friendly staff, nice outside bar facility »

« A lovely lodge on the edge of Murchison Falls National Park and the Nile. The staff were friendly and always escorted us to and from our lodge after dark in case of elephants (which we did encounter on the track to the lodge on one eve). The lodge was very large with Verandah and bathroom as well as 3 bedded bedroom. You can hear music at night from across the Nile so ear plugs would be recommended for light sleepers. It is so convenient for early morning games drives and the buffet breakfast...

« I really enjoyed the hippos grazing at night. The staff also built us a bonfire the first night we were there and we were able to eat around it. The biggest problem was they said we were not expected ( even though my name was clearly on their guest list) and that they did not know we had a 6 year old with us. They were very confused at first and did not know how to handle the situation. One man was very unfriendly. »

« The hotel and all the facilities are top-notch! The service is impeccable and everyone will make sure that you are serviced to the best of their ability. The pool is cleaned often and the view is spectacular. I can highly recommend Paraa Safari Lodge »

« The staff was nice. We went on a Safari and we got to see lots of animals and we went on a dinner boat cruise and got to see hippos and and some other wildlife and that was a lot of fun. The rooms were nice. We stayed there total of five nights Very peaceful and relaxing in town is not very far away as in Pakwach. For some easy shopping and gifts »

« Tutto perfetto:) accoglienza e gentilezza »

« For the money it is a good location. Not far from Paraa where it is 3-4 times more this hotel ot is a bargain. With little improvement could be a super deal. Even so it is a good deal. They have good restaurant with good fish or chicken and chips. Ladies serving and hotel ladies are providing good service. Management helped with check in and our needs in rooms. Some things in the rooms needs to be corrected but for the money I will stay anytime there again. This was my second time staying at the...

« スタッフが様々な旅の要望に、親身に対応してくれた。周辺はのどかで、平穏な雰囲気だった。 水回りをちょうど新しくしたタイミングだったようで非常に快適だった。 »

« I am really, really tired of hotels claiming that they have ‘free wifi’ (I stay in hotels >300 nights per year). This hotel had only intermittent electricity (so no power to the small fan in the room at night). In 48 hour stay perhaps 2 hours of connectivity. I encourage Hotels.com to add a third category “wifi MAY be available” »

« the person hat is putting this hotel listing has no involvement in the hotel. he is just an intermediary, the hotel owner does not know him and does not even know that they are listed on expedia. that person has over priced the hotel rate and collects the money and just pays a fraction to the hotel. When I saw the hotel and did not want to stay in it, the hotel management had no problem to refund me the money but that person has refused to refund the fee that he collected from expedia, even...

« This is a potentially good place to stay, but they should have ensured that everything was working before they opened. »
