We drove 8 hours to stay here with our three adult children as a Christmas gift. I would not recommend this home or the property manager. A 5/10 rating is generous. The property manager consistently over-promised and was largely non-communicative via VRBO and text. Issues began Jan 2 and, as of Jan 27, one promised refund is still outstanding. Resolving the first refund required over 3 hours with VRBO customer service. The photos are not current. While the house is spacious, nearly everything is very dated and worn—furniture, carpets, bathrooms, kitchen, tile, and especially outdoor furniture. The price was steep for the condition. The neighborhood did not feel “luxury.” Outdoor amenities are outdated. Pool and hot tub equipment were leaking. The stove had only two working burners and the oven barely functioned. There was no house binder, and pool/spa operation was unclear. Check-in was chaotic: cleaners were still present, a car was in the driveway, and the front door lock was broken—none of which was communicated during our long drive. We also experienced disturbing yelling from a nearby neighbor and frequent smoke from surrounding yards. A maintenance person eventually fixed the door and a toilet. We even had to buy a wine opener despite a large bar area.Although the manager agreed to refund spa heating (400) and half a day’s stay, only the first refund was paid. We stayed only because we had no alternative upon arrival. It is not worth the cost I wish I could write more

Very nice place. Location was fine for us. Lots of quiet time rules after 7pm, but we weren’t there to party, just relax, so not a huge deal. It sounds like it can be/has been a problem for the neighbors so keep it in mind. Nice place overall, host is very responsive.

Nice place to stay with my family

I will admit, some of the reviews left me feeling a bit nervous about what this house would look like but it was absolutely fine. The backyard was a great place to hang out during our downtime and our adult kids enjoyed the game room activities. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing pool!!!

We had an awesome time at this property! The pool was amazing, heated and perfect for relaxing. The patio area around the pool was also fantastic, a great spot to hang out and enjoy the sun. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the self check-in process was super easy. The host was incredibly responsive and always replied within minutes. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing backyard!

Our stay was amazing! We spent a lot of time at the pool, swim-up bar, grill, and firepit. The property has a ton of privacy with hedges that completely surround the backyard, and the house had everything our family needed. The property is a quick and very easy drive to shopping, groceries, restaurants and the BNP Paribas tennis tournament in Indian Wells. The host Kevin was very easy to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had. I'd recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice, private stay in this location.

Not what is shown on listing, trust me!

I agree with Loryne's review in July 2024. Ours was a Birthday Celebration weekend with girlfriends. We chose this house for the pool and backyard "oasis". We planned on hanging out swimming, using the spa and relaxing. Fri. was supposed to be dinner/spa night. When we checked in Fri. there were so many leaves in the pool, it looked like it had not been cleaned, it also had a green hue to it which we could not tell if was algae or the pebble color in the bottom. I messaged the contact person who replied, said that he would try and get pool guy there. I messaged him many times that evening, he said he had not heard back from the pool guy. Fri. no one came so I messaged again on Sat. AM. He said that he was still trying to get the pool guy there. We were told that someone would be there by 11am so we waited, at 11:45 no one had come so we left. The pool guy came to clean it while we weren't there. It took over 2 hours to clean the pool that we were TOLD was cleaned 2 times that week. We were told that salt was put in the pool and that it was good to go. I know you need to wait if chemicals have been put in. After asking, I was told wait 45 minutes, we waited over an hour. When we looked at the pool it was now light blue except for the corners that were still green with algae. Pool had been FULL of algae. Spa bubbles didn't work either. Said they would try and refund a night, never did. Also black mold in the shower. Mgmt. will rebut this as in Loryne's,don't believe them.

Run down

Overall the property did not match the pictures and description. Upon arrival the house was hot. The carpets were stained, not all the amenities were working properly. The pool was filthy and had algae. It was 115 when we arrived, it was very disappointing that the house and pool were not ready to use. One of the fans was missing a blade and rocked terribly. The pool furniture was torn. One of the bathroom light fixtures was hanging down. Additionally one of the down stairs windows does not close all the way, causing a security concern. The house next door was abandon and appeared to have three bullet holes in the front window. Overall the house was not very clean. We found chips inside the pool table and got ants when we had food on the counter. During our week stay on two seperate occasions a landscaper and a pool man show up in the backyard unannounced. They made more of a mess, the host did not seem to know the schedule and didnt seem to care about the intrusion. We have stayed in many Vrbo rentals and this by far was the most disappointing. It was not worth the money we paid. Its unfortunate that the home owner is not putting in the work to upkeep this home.

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. - House was clean - Nice neighborhood - Amazing backyard / Pool area - Outdoor BBQ setup was a hit - Host was quick to respond and was accommodating Not sure we could have found a better spot for our weekend trip! Will definitely be returning!

Overall great time!

Overall, we had a great time! what I will say is the house looks a little bit nicer online. It really could use a carpet shampoo, a coat of paint on the walls. A little facelift goes a long way!! It felt a little rundown and dated. What I will say is the LED white lights are awful not relaxing whatsoever if there’s anyway to adjust or create softer lighting, that would be great maybe dimmers!? Some of The outdoor amenities were broken, but we made do. The outdoor grill area was fantastic! The basketball hoop in the pool was Lots of fun! In the end we really did enjoy ourselves! Kevin the host was very accommodating! Thanks again!
