« Very cool design, great location walking distance to everything in Jose Ignacio, convenient to the bus station. Rooms are well designed and beds are comfortable. Really nice market and coffee shop / bakery just around the corner. Still some work in progress. The property seems to still be under some construction, as the bar is not yet open and a few other cosmetic things missing. The rooftop pool does not have umbrellas (and according to staff will not due to the wind), so it is fully exposed...

« Notre chambre était assez vieille e dans la salle de bain le lavabo était placé juste devant le WC ! Presque impossible de s’asseoir pour ceux qui on les jambes un peu longues! Dommage car Réception et restaurant sont de haut niveau ! Le personnel et au top ! Petit conseil : il faut avoir une voiture car on est assez loin des plages et de la capitale. »

« In a former palace, the lobby, restaurant and spa are spectacular. The service is kind and omnipresent. Location is not perfect to visit the city but closer to the airport so it is a good compromise. Maybe the rooms, actually comfortable, but a little bland, would need renos to really be at par with the grandeur of the building. Add historical details and design in the rooms and this is the Paris Ritz on the beach in Montevideo! »
