The Eiffel Tower view is only available for some of our Premium rooms (which are more spacious as well), as it is mentioned in the room descriptions. Moreover, as our hotel is located in a historic building, our Comfort room size might be small, in order to respect to authenticity of the building, but our Superior and Premium rooms are more spacious. We always remain at your disposal to recommend you the best room options according to your preferences. I am so sorry to read that the breakfast was not up to your taste, we offer a buffet of cheese, ham, eggs, bacon, sausage, pastry, bread... Regarding the matress some people like it to be firm, medium ferm, or not at all. Hotel's matress usualy please our customers and selected in order to do so, it is a mater of personal taste. Dear Madam, Thank you for your review of our hotel. Indeed, The Duquesne Eiffel Hotel is located in a very nice area close to the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides. As the hotel was build in 1797 we kept the charm of the building. This why the rooms are quite small, but it is Paris. I understand that you were disappointed with the room you booked, however, you booked a classic courtyard room, which as the name suggests does not have a street view but a courtyard view. This makes it difficult to see the Eiffel Tower, so I'm afraid you've booked the wrong type of room. I'm really sorry and I understand your disappointment. Concerning the gas leak, we don't have any gas in the hotel but the restaurant next door, which is undergoing work, did indeed touch a pipe. Even if we weren't risking much, we opted for safety and called the fire department.Regarding the various technical problems in the room, did you request the intervention of our technician so that we could remedy them? It's quite possible to have two keys, we usually offer this on arrival, too bad you didn't dare ask. Thank you very much for noting the cleanliness of the rooms. We regret your bad experience, please do not hesitate to ask to see the manager, I would have been delighted to find solutions. Best regardsJulie
