Loved the neighborhood! The apartment was great although it faces the center courtyard so there isn’t much light. Didn’t bother us too much since we were outside touring anyway! I’d stay there again!

The Perfect Spot!
We loved our stay in David’s apartment. We were three college girlfriends having a 40 yr reunion. The apartment was clean and comfortable with good amenities. The neighborhood was fantastic! We had easy walks all over Paris and felt so connected to lots of cool zones. Le Marias, the Louvre area, St Germain and more were convenient by food. Just a few streets behind the apartment is a great restaurant zone called Montrogueil. We ate at many of those spots and they were delicious! It was a wonderful experience overall. The beds were super comfy, too! Thanks David and Isabel!

Great place, great location
The property was as advertised, and Isabel was very helpful. Location is very convenient to the Metro, bus lines, and a Monoprix market just 100 steps away. It was quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. If you want to be in the Marais, this is a good choice.

Just "Meh"
Positives - great location, close to many restaurants, metro, grocery, clean Negatives - the apartment is "tired". The pictures are not accurate...granted it's the same furnishings but they are in desperate need of being cleaned/updated. Isabel (property manager) couldn't check us in fast enough and leave. We had several questions, but just stood there looking at each other as she rushed out the door. She speaks very little english so when communicating with her I had to use google translate and show her my phone. The safe does not work. After reaching out to her she basically told me "it doesn't work, some other guest broke it, it's summer/busy season so we can't get anyone to fix it, just hide your valuables in the apartment, we have no problems with theft". The sign on the front door cautions that you should protect your valuables as there have been break in attempts. We had a couple of other questions during our stay but after the safe answer I didn't even bother contacting Isabel. There are no basic instructions for washer, garbage removal, etc. That would've been extremely helpful. Overall this is a great location, clean, and met our basic needs. Based on the cost it would've been nice if the apartment pictures were accurate and we could have had better communication with the property manager.

Hello, we are happy to know that you enjoyed our location in the historic center. The decoration of the apartment is typically Parisian and not IKEA. This is totally voluntary and a real decoration choice. You are right Isabelle does not speak English but welcomes guests with all her heart ♥️. The safe has just been changed because in fact during this period the companies are closed for annual holidays. THE. message which is in the apartment concerning the flights we speak of the tourist sites like the museums the Eiffel Tower…. We wish you a good return home.

Nice place; communication challenges
The apartment is nice (European small) and a great location. David is easy to communicate with; Isabel less so. She also was unhelpful when we asked for help getting a taxi to the airport. It would be helpful to have information in the apartment about recycling/trash, using the washer, and key return.

Disappointed
We were excited about renting the apartment from the photos and description on the website but we were disappointed with the apartment because it was not well maintained. The shower drain was clogged. When we told Isabel she said they would fix it after we left. The bathroom sink faucet was not attached properly, very loose. When we mentioned that, Isabel merely said that they were aware of it. It was cold and damp during our stay. We asked about the heat and David said we needed to turn on the radiators. We had already tried that and it didn’t work. The elevator was out of service until day 7 or our 9 day stay. An unattractive shawl was on the sofa pillows to cover stains. It was spring in Paris but the "beautiful garden "was a few pots with mostly dying plants. Sad. At other Vrbo rentals there had been a booklet with information about the apartment and recommendations for restaurants and activities to do in the area. There wasn’t one in the apartment.

Too bad you didn't express things before you left!!! Hello Joyce When you left you told us that you had an excellent stay and we are delighted that you had a good holiday in the historic district. Thank you for your feedback and we always value our guest reviews; after checking we refixed the tap which indeed moved a little but nothing serious. When you left, the shower siphon was clogged with hair, but when you arrived, everything was perfect. After a good cleaning after your departure everything works perfectly. the heating is very easy to use they just have to put them on ON which you have not managed to do ..... here too everything has been checked after your departure the elevator in the building did not work, also it has rarely happened that an elevator breaks down but everything has been repaired by the manager. We are just one level anyway so the staircase is 10 steps not too hard to keep fit Yes the flowers in this period have not yet bloomed you have to come back this summer and the terrace will be green We are in the center of Paris and there is no shortage of activities and outings, just look on the website of the Paris tourist office, and you have the Parisian guides in the apartment library. read them. We will be happy to see you again

Great location
Roomy two bedroom flat and close to everything! Close to the underground metro and many restaurants. Very quiet and well appointed.

Great stay in Paris
The location was perfect with easy access to Paris sites via the metro station on the corner. The host/manager was great on communication. Size was perfect for two couples and one bathroom was not a problem. We would definitely stay there again if we return. Merci David and Isabel!

A Magic Place in Paris !
This flat really is a hidden gem in the city centre of Paris. Perfectly quiet, clean, safe and well equipped for our one week family stay. David is a gorgeous host, even speaks very good English and is fully attentive towards all needs of his guests. Thank you so much, David and maybe we will meet again one time ...
