My friends and I were so excited when we saw this posted as a place to stay during our trip in France. It had a good location that we were really looking forward to. The host was good at replying except failed to mention that the door that goes out to the street from the complex locks at 5PM, and we were given no code in order to unlock this door during our stay and were left to ask the local occupants. Also, we arrived during our allotted check-in time only to be greeted with trash on the floor and everywhere, wet towels on the bed, dirty dishes by/in the sink, nasty floors everywhere, more trash (giant box) in the bathroom, along with the poop stain in the toilet. Normally, I am not someone to complain, however, when you pay for a "cleaning" fee and arrive at the correct time, you might expect a place to at least not have dirty dishes, trash everywhere, poop stains, and used wet towels on the bed. Upon contacting the host, they decided to argue and tell me that I was incorrect and that they saw the place perfectly clean before we arrived. I have photos that were requested anyways upon our arrival and these photos definitely tell a different story. I am not sure if we just have 2 VERY different definitions of "clean" however, I do not think what we arrived to would be considered clean in most cultures. Especially when you are paying an extra fee for it to be clean, and we are still in the midst of a pandemic.
