Really neat house and great location in the Pass. But it was really dirty in some areas, including the wooden floors, which resulted in dirty black feet if you walked barefoot on them. We were told that a previous tenant must have taken all the towels, so when we arrived, there were bags of new towels from Walmart outside the door that needed to be washed and dried. And some closets were really junky and disorganized. The very nice property manager promptly came to clean after I asked. The 3rd floor is called a loft and costs extra, but it is really more of a closed in attic with no central AC. Lastly, the Internet was not working when we arrived, so the owner came out with her husband and took about an hour to get it fixed around 9 pm our first night. Not good. Also the bottom floor of the house is rented out to a business. They were very nice, but lots of in and out traffic for the business was not ideal for staying in the house.Finally, the owner promised to credit some fees back to me if I left her a five star review! But clearly this is not a five star property, so I could not in good conscience be dishonest in my review. Overall a cool house but a disappointing stay. The property manager was very responsive and helpful, but the owner does not keep the property up very well.
