"Jet Ski for you my friend!"
This is probably our 10th stay at the Mirage. It is still lovely, and as an improvement, I cannot find any grumpy or hostile staff anymore. The food is great if you eat Thai, otherwise not too great. The worst experience were 1) during checkin, if you cannot confirm that the Expedia booking indeed HAS breakfast included, do not let the customer wait for that information for 20 minutes, but take care of that in the back office. 2) The water park is quite worn out especially where you have the "water cannons", and remind you of the patchy streets. This is almost dangerous now. 3) Now we have Thai men screaming JET SKI FOR YOU MY FRIEND when you walk down to the beach, befriended by the security guard and the hotel staff. It's a five star hotel, not a place where you have "my friend" selling you jet skis, which are generally considered scams in Pattaya or Phuket. And not with a loud, attacking voice, commandeering their staff to do this or that in loud Thai across the beach. Ruins your feeling when you feel like set up at some cheap beach. The ladies selling toys or cloth are discreet and do not pester.

Schnell heruntergekommen
Ob es an der großen Menge von Touristen aus meist Russland und China lieg, die durchgeschleust werden, oder ob das Management einfach in dieser Hinsicht spart, das kann ich leider nicht sagen, dem Centara Grand Mirage sieht man allerdings deutlich an allen Ecken die Gebrauchsspuren an. Zudem hat das Personal (Frühstücksraum, Zimmermädchen) ein eher laxes Verhältnis zu Sauberkeit und vom eifrigen Wachpersonal könnte man bei einem 5-*-Haus vllt. auch mindestens gebrochenes Englisch sowie Grundmanieren erwarten. Die Poollandschaft ist aber weiterhin für Pattaya unschlagbar.

チェックインの際、この旅行は娘の誕生日旅行だと話しているとプールから戻った際部屋にケーキとろうそくが用意してありました。 素敵なサプライズに私も娘も感動でした。 プールは娘が楽しめる色々なプール(飛び込み、プールバー、スライダー、流れるプールなど)がありアクティビティーもたくさんあり時間が足りないくらいでした。 また部屋は全室オーシャンビューで部屋から見る夕日は最高に綺麗でした。 また泊まりたいと思います。

The resort is really showing its age. Not maintained well at all. Bathroom within the room has mildew stains throughout. A hole in the wall where a phone once hung. TV with poor brightness, barely viewable. All facilities are super worn. Kids water play area has mildew/mold stains throughout. Paint worn off of most of the fixtures. The resort is under renovations so I hope next time will be a better experience if I choose to return. As far as the service, it was mixed at best. I would like to recognize Koong and Pon in the Kid’s Club for watching our son. They did an excellent job, our son had nothing but great things to say about them. I would like to also recognize Nancy in the Oasis restaurant. I am so grateful she was able to accommodate us when others we spoke to wouldn’t. My wife and I wanted to eat the buffet at Oasis that evening however our son wanted to have a cheeseburger which wasn’t on the menu at the buffet. We spoke to another person before Nancy which suggested we eat at another restaurant at the resort. Lastly, I would like to recognize the Spa team, my wife and I enjoyed their services. They are very skilled in their work. All in all, unfortunately I was quite disappointed with my stay here.

10歳・6歳の子連れで滞在しました。 ファミリータイプの部屋を予約していましたが、 当日ファミリースイートにアップグレードいただきました。 子供は二段ベッドに喜んでいました。 プールも大きく、子供向けの設備も充実しており 部屋にいる以外はずっとプールで遊んでいました。 うちの子曰く、タイで一番良いホテルとのことです笑 ありがとうございました!また来ます!

Best family resort in Thailand but the property needs to be seriously updated. Our door locks and Air Conditioning weren't working and we needed technicians to come and fix them. Lots of touch up paint needed every where. Been to this property many times and it seems neglected by management compared to before.

Extra cost in activities, poor service during check in, poor service in restaurant. Extra cost if you would like to carry your own food in common areas. Restaurant food taste is just average but over priced not to.mention they were slow and forgot order. The room suppose to be family room but have no table for dinning, no cluttering, it was just a double room rather than family room.
