We enjoyed our stay. We used the gym most days. We liked vent able to take our dog out without going down an elevator as we would in a tall condo. Beds are a little firm which is great for some. Managers were very available and responsive.

Good time

Cool place , enjoyed the amenities however seems like it would be overcrowded in mid summer. Beds, kitchen and space were great, could use some new skillets and a foot rinse at entrance dislike carpet on the first level stairs but that is the builder not the home owners fault.

Love Footloose

We wanted to stay in Lost Key and chose Footloose from the other reviews and pictures and it was a great choice. It is nicely decorated and furnished and was very clean. The outdoor screened porch was a great spot for morning coffee or to read a book. The pool and gym were both very nice, as were the private beach, pool and restaurant across the street. The grill was not usable but that was taken care of very quickly with a phone call and a different grill was brought over the next morning. The only things that I felt were missing were beach towels and chairs. Although we did like the beach at Lost Key with the chairs and umbrellas, we would have liked to check out some of the other surrounding beaches and do not like sitting on the sand and Traveling by air did not allow space for beach towels. The other issue that we had was the dryer which I think was mentioned in another review. It was warm to the touch on the outside but did not dry very well at all. Even with the things mentioned, I would definitely stay at Footloose again if we are back in the Pensacola area. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

4th of July Week

Stayed at this property with my 4 adult children (19-25) and 2 dogs. Overall, great stay! Pros and cons based on our experience. Located in a beautiful community which includes a beachfront clubhouse. An abundance of chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach just for Perdido Key guests. Golf, fitness room, and pool very nice. The screened in porch faces the ocean so you get the feeling of being at the beach as opposed to staying deeper in the community. Decided not to get a golf cart because you can’t drive on the main road and there is no parking for it at the beach. Taking the shuttle to and from the beach was the way to go. There are 2 air conditioners, downstairs stayed at a constant cool and comfortable temperature. Master bedroom was freezing, had to close the vents. Kids were all hot so we left the doors open to get adequate ventilation. Firm foam mattress in bedrooms which hugged every pressure point perfectly. Big master shower, high shower head, and strong water pressure. Washer and drier- a few days into our stay we washed our first load of towels only to find out that the drier is on its way out. It would not dry and needs to be fixed or replaced. We cooked several meals, dishes and silverware were very nice. Pots and pans were mostly old and worn and need to be replaced. Had to buy several utensils to prepare meal. Pulled sea shells and lime wedges out of garbage disposal, housekeeping should have caught this. Clean and pet friendly neighborhood.

Great week at Footloose

We were in town for a wedding in Pensacola and decided to extend our stay for a few days before and after the wedding. The condo was great! Only a 10 minute walk to the beach club (shuttle was pretty busy most days), very clean, way more than enough room for the six people we had. The pool/fitness center on the backside of the property was clean and accessible as well. Perdido Key is quiet (perfect), but the proximity to Pensacola Beach and Orange Beach allows for easy access to more dining and entertainment opportunities for the younger ones who may be along. We will definitely check out Lost Key for future stays!

Footloose Review

The property was very nice, and had a beautiful view from the balcony. Using Xplorie was easy and a nice benefit. We ended up walking to the beach club most days as the shuttle was harder to time. The Beach Club was a great ammenity. We have timely and clear information on the expectations for the property.

Great Condo

We were very pleased with the decor and cleanliness of the condo. Location was good as were the amenities of the property. The condo was well stocked, we cooked in 4 nights and had everything we needed. Had a couple of times we contacted the property manager and received very quick responses. I would highly recommend this condo.

Really liked the area. Everything was pretty close. Never used the shuttle, it was easier to drop the family off in our vehicle and then scooter over. Only complaint was the beach club doesn't have towel service so we had to buy some from a shop since no one mentioned bringing them.

What a place to stay! Excellent access to both the pool and beach. Beautifully appointed unit with everything you would need to have that dream family vacation! Hosts were responsive when I had a question. No issues at all. Great place to stay! Will definitely be back!

The place was beautiful. Not too far of a walk from the beach but there is a shuttle that will take you to the beach if you choose. My family and I are already talking about planning another trip. The only negative would be that the gas grill was filthy and the propane tank was empty. Otherwise, great place to stay.

The unit was exactly as advertised. The owner was very communicative with us and allowed our babyquip supplier in early to deliver items we had reserved. The Lost Keys community is very well maintained and has great walking paths throughout.

You might not be able to tell from the photos but you *can* see the ocean from the screened in deck on the back. Lovely neighborhood, lovely townhouse. Good location with shops and restaurants nearby.

Loved it. A few things for people to keep in mind: 1) It is not a long walk to the beach (my three and four year old did it on their own with no complaints). It's actually closer than the walk, but the sidewalk isn't a straight shot so it takes a little longer. *There is a free shuttle service that will take you to the beach if you don't want to walk* 2) The beds are generally hard, BUT are very comfortable. My mother likes soft beds, but said she oddly still loved sleeping on the beds. I slept on the pullout, and slept fine (it was a little dirty. My only criticism of the place). My two sons and their aunt and their uncle slept on the bunk beds and all four slept fine. 3) The kitchen comes with pots, pans, cups, and plates. We made several meals there of different types, and did not need anything. 4) There is a small amount of toilet paper and trash bags provided. They tell you this in the email, but in case you don't read it I'm letting you know. A Walmart and a Publix are just about a 10-15 minute drive away, so it's not hard to pick up more. 5) Besides the beach, there are a lot of other fun things to do with kids. There are a few great parks and walking trails. My father and I went running, and there was a sidewalk everywhere we ran to (almost the length of the key). 6) Pensacola is close enough that if you want to go there you can (we went Black Friday shopping), but far enough away that you aren't dealing with the lights/sounds/crowds. 7) Beach was perfect for us. 8) There is a screened-in small deck with a little table and sofa and chairs. Very comfortable and beautiful to sit on. Has a fan and a light as well. Overall, a wonderful experience. One of the best vacation rentals I've stayed at. Price was a little more than I liked (the extra fees were the problem, not the price itself), but I was NOT disappointed.

Great location and space

Really enjoyed the community, short half mile walk to the beach or shuttle drive. What would have been a little nicer would be more hooks in the bathroom- behind the doors for towels and swimsuits and a towel hook for the hand towels. There are shelves for belongings but dressers would have been better. You do need to bring your own TP, detergent, paper towels, etc. they start with the first roll but if you are staying longer you need your own.
