Ce condo a une SAMEDI AU SAMEDI EXIGENCE pendant la haute saison!
Cette soignée 2 chambres, 2 salle de bain condo est situé au 2ème étage de ce complexe de front de mer. Il fait face à la piscine et la plage pour une vue superbe sur le golfe du Mexique. Il dispose d'un lit king size dans la chambre principale, un lit Queen dans la chambre d'amis et un grand canapé-lit dans le salon. Il ya 3 joueurs de TV et DVD et l'accès haut-débit à Internet est disponible. La cuisine design ouverte surplombe la salle à manger sur la plage. Il est entièrement équipé avec tous les appareils et il ya une laveuse et une sécheuse dans le condo pour votre commodité.

Just a few needs.

Enjoyed my stay but sofa sleeper was a joke! Nothing to hold it up and the mattress was just a thing spring. Ended up putting it on couch cushions on the floor. Glad it was just for the kids! Needed more blankets only had bedspreads. Well stocked kitchen supplies and lots of beach toys! The sliding glass door was impossible to slide even in after we cleaned track and soaped it to help with slide. Could really get hurt trying to pull. Great master with bath. Really nice and clean complex! Big pool right on the beach.

Room was clean had eveything we needed. There is quick access to the beach and they have chairs and umbrellas ready early am. We will visit again next year.

Great view

Had a good time. The umbrella/chair attendant very nice and helpful. Condo clean...balcony table and chairs weren't very comfortable. Had an issue getting access to condo... I didn't receive an email telling me how to get into the condo. Check in was on a Sunday. Had to call vrbo and they were very helpful. The Sunday we checked in had to call the property manager emergency number to get details to get packet info to get into condo. Overall a great time.

Our Family Spot

We’ve stayed at the Islander before and we decided a couple years ago that it’s where go now. Only problem this time was that we realized on our first full day maintenance had come into our condo and changed out the refrigerator without notifying us first. They moved all our food. We left jewelry and wallets and cash and car keys in the room while we were at the beach. Did not appreciate that. BUT we love the view and location. As long that doesn’t happen again we will be good!

Great time

Hadn't been to Fort Walton since I was in high school with my parents back in the 80's. I like the slower pace locations like Navarre and had not remembered how Fort Walton is very similar. So, if you're a beach person like me who when he goes to the beach, he GOES TO THE BEACH. Enjoyed the condo. It was clean and had new carpets. Does need a new frig, but other than that, it was great! We may book the same unit next year.

Condo size & location were great, property in big need of updating. Pots & pans basically unuable to use, blankets need to be replaced, carpet in master needs replaced, etc... Just basic freshen up needed.

great week

nicer than expected, no problems, very clean, pool was cleaned every morning. the only thing lacking was a nightly entertainment poolside as it has a perfect poolside for that sort of thing. we loved our stay there.

Beach is awesome, condo is a timecapsule

Our family loves being right on the beach, and when we planned a last min trip to Florida this unit was the only thing available for spring break. The people we worked with are awesome and the check in process was easy, but the condo itself is not ideal. It’s from 1990 and hasn’t been touched since then. Needs a total update (including the 1990 dishes), but it worked for a place to stay. Won’t stay again, definitely will look for a more updated condo but the location is great!

The Islander

We truly enjoyed every moment of our vacation at The Islander in room 2004 from October 8th-11th, 2020. The check in process is easy and convenient, Alicia was fantastic at answering questions and concerns. The only complaint we have with the rental was that it wasn’t clean when we arrived and ended up spending about 3 hours getting it cleaned up properly. However with this being said, Alicia was great to correct the issue for us and we would highly recommend renting from Alicia to anyone! We will definitely be back!!!

Nice location but not worth the money

So overall we had a good time. Beach is beautiful, easy access to everything , nice area, and good food in the area. Now for the condo. It wasn’t a disaster but after you pay all the fees incorporated with the condo your out of a nice chunk of change. Shower walls in master bath we’re discusting and slimy. Me and my wife literally took showers trying to keep away from the walls. It was gross. Pans in the kitchen were ok but one pan looked like it had a burn hole in the bottom. Whoever owns this property needs to get to Walmart and change those uncomfortable crappy comforters. Feels like you are at motel 6 not a nice condo rental. Comforters also had a bad smell. Carpet could have used a shampooing and bed sheets need to be washed with some decent detergent. I’m sure they use some commercial cheap stuff. This property was a little cheaper than my first rental and if you want to save a couple bucks go for it. If your willing to shell out another $200 (in total) you can get something much nicer. At least get a really nice hotel room.

First time visitors

We had a good trip with the exception of checking in. We were visiting w/ my nephew prior to him being deployed to Afghanistan. We left NC @ 3:00 a.m. and when it came time to check in, we hit some snags. First, the parking pass not in envelope, called the realtor and they come back to the office, turned around to go back and get them only for the helper in the office to call us back to tell us our passes were in the onsite managers office so we turn around to go back to the condo. We unloaded the car (104 degrees outside), go upstairs only to find the code did not work to unlock the door. The realtor did not offer to come and try to help us and figure out what was wrong with the lock even though they were only 5 mins away. The onsite maintenance staff are the ones that helped us. The realtor said they called a locksmith and it would be 45 min/1 hr before they could get there and I asked what we were supposed to do and they said we could come back to their office and wait (???) We had just unpacked the car and now we would have to pack all items back in the car...really. We had been traveling for 10 hrs and all we wanted to do was get in the room. The maintenance staff was the only ones trying to trouble shoot the problem and as it turns out, the cleaning staff (so they said)locked the deadbolt with the key and the electronic lock on the door does not unlock the deadbolt. When we told the realtor this info, only then did she say they would bring a key to unlock the door. Here was the next problem, the realtor's office said they would bring some batteries and put them in the lock (???)but we never saw them again our entire stay AND we couldn't lock the door when we would leave our room. When we were inside, we could lock it from inside but not from the outside. The onsite staff helped us more than the realtor we rented from. To the homeowner- get you another realtor to rent your condo. The condo was nice, but if you are looking for something fancy, this is not for you, it was clean but some things need to be done to it, it is outdated, carpet and sand do not go together, carpet is very worn, it needs to be painted, the condo is roomy and large, you do have a washer and dryer to use, the location is good, it's on the 2nd floor, great view and the balcony is very large and roomy. The condo was fine but needs a little work. Staying on the Ft Walton side, for us, was much better than staying on the Destin side, it was only 12 mins to get to Destin.
