Plan d'étage ouvert avec des chambres spacieuses dans la cuisine et le bar de l'île, la chambre Sun, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains et demi, une terrasse magnifique avec bain à remous! Entièrement meublé et peut accueillir 8 personnes. Cette belle maison sur l'eau est un endroit idéal pour la pêche, observation des oiseaux, observations de pygargue à tête blanche et zone de nidification, détente, 10 minutes du nord-est du Maryland avec beaucoup d'activités, restaurants, canotage, divertissement et plus ... Kitchen is well stocked. The view of the Bay is great. Caught maybe 15 catfish off the pier over the course of a weekend, plus a white perch, a snapping turtle, plenty of bird watching, and even watched a beaver swim by.I wish there would've been a hose outback to hose and brush off the outdoor furniture and tiki bar every morning. A hose and brush back there would help make it a little more enjoyable/usable. And maybe a couple bug zappers :) The water in the house is very hard and smells/tastes of metal, not sure this can be helped, and we got used to it. Even in the hot tub, it's almost green, even though it was very heavily chlorinated. We still enjoyed it and warmed up in it as it was a rare chilly, rainy June weekend.Brian was very easy to work with, allowed us to check in an hour early, and was very quick to respond to questions. It may be time to replace the Queen mattress in the 2nd bedroom, as my 70 yr old parents, rolled to the center and felt stuck there.All in all, the house served us well, and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I came for vacation, not to do housekeeping!

Pictures on the website are accurate. View is beautiful. Living area was very spacious.We sat on the deck early in the morning and late in the evening.Hot tub was nice.Check-in process was easy. Once inside the house, we were very surprised to find unmade beds with sheets on top that we needed to make, which after a 7 hour trip was not something I wanted to do.We were surprised to find that there were very few towels, especially with a hot tub and we were staying 3 nights. There were NO washcloths to be found. The towels were discolored, mis-matched and had some large stains on them. We decided to wash all of the towels before we used them.Be aware they do not supply bath soap, shampoo, conditioner or a hair dryer (although they did not say they had them on the listing, but they also did not say they DIDN’T supply them). They also only had 2 hand soaps at the sinks (for a 3 bathroom listing).The main bathroom did not even have a waste basket.I do not think the floors in the house had been vacuumed at all as there were actual piles of dirt. I did mention this to the owner and he did advise he would follow-up with the cleaners.The house had an abundance of cleaning products in every closet.I had to totally clean the entire coffee pot before use.The kitchen cabinets were also not very clean. It would have been nice to have some local recommendations.Then the request to wash and dry the sheets prior to leaving is beyond ridiculous. I wouldn’t book again.

House was beautiful location was great but overall dirty and not well stocked. No hand soap in any bathrooms, only 4 bath towels when there were 8 of us sleeping there. One bedroom didn't have a smoke detector. One bathroom toilet was completely clogged and broken upon arrival and we couldn't use the entire stay. Mouse poop was found through out the kitchen.

Home Away from Home!

The lake house was spacious and had a beautiful view. The owner had a lot of amenities in the house available, so there was no need to run out for any supplies. Will book again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! The house was absolutely spotless, check in was easy, and kitchen is well appointed. The views are beautiful too. Brian was super responsive and answered all of my questions. Can’t wait to go back!

Severe Health Risks and Unsanitary Conditions

Upon arrival, we discovered severe toxic gas fumes in the property, which posed a significant health risk to my family. Despite assurances from the owner that the issue was resolved, the fumes were pervasive and hazardous. Prior to booking, I read in the reviews that there were gas fumes and I specifically inquired about the remediation of the gas fumes. The owner assured me multiple times that the issue had been fully resolved. However, this was not the case, and the property was not safe for occupancy and my daughter was sick from the conditions for multiple days.

Family getaway

The views and location are beautiful. The house needs TLC. The house is not clean. We understand that it is on the water and bugs can not be helped. However, the cobwebs and squished bugs all over the kitchen makes it undesirable to eat in. I am not sure if they are paying for professional cleaning but they should look for other caretakers. They also have limited linens. You have to make your own bed and wash the linens and towels before leaving. Read the reviews and believe them. I overlooked some of the reviews thinking they were taken care of. Other than location we would not rent this house again. Also, the landscaper came at 7:00 in the morning. It’s a little unacceptable while they have renters there.

Weekend at the Bay

The house was great for a quick get away for the weekend with some friends. Being on the water was a great spot. The water does get very shallow as the tide is low. I would recommend for a little get away with friends.

Awesome House, Relaxing Stay

Loved my long weekend. I found it so relaxing. House is awesome. Hot tub was such a plus. I brought an inflatable kayak. My niece and I got to enjoy being on the water, which added to the enjoyment. Highly recommend. We found ourselves spending a lot of time at the house! The host was very accommodating, too. Pet friendly, which I love. Hope to return. Think it would be a great place to stay with friends.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Check in easy. We were in Maryland for a wedding, Total family members 4 adults, 2 children and 1 dog perfect accommodations for all of us. We used the hot tub, best part fishing, my grandson caught a nice size cat fish after that we all caught sunnies. Hopefully we can visit again, we had an awesome time. Thank you!

Property Needs Work

I’ll start first with the positive. Location is great. Neighbors are very nice. View is lovely Now negative. A quick summary - the AC broke and it took several days to fix (it was 86 in the house), the house was quite dirty after the cleaning service left (fans filled with soot, furniture had stains and burns), there was an awful smell of home heating oil in the bedrooms which gave all of us headaches (seems a tank was removed and never properly cleaned up), the sewer backed upon the property, the pots/pans need to be replaced, We spoke with the owner and property manager several times and offered them quite a bit of patience while we were there to remedy the situation. Eventual things got fixed - frankly we left the house cleaner and nicer than we received it. Now a few weeks after we left and multiple attempts with contacting the owner to offer us some return compensation for our poor stay - pure silence... Hence this long review. We could go on with more details but the system doesn't allow it.

This is a spacious, well-appointed house right on the bay with unbeatable views. They used a lot of industrial cleaning agent that smells like a combination of bug spray and gasoline. We had to open windows to circulate the smell out, and one guest still got a headache from the fumes. Switch to a cleaning product that is made for residential spaces and have someone deep clean so there aren't cobwebs and debris in the outdoor spaces/ on the furniture.

Absolutely Filthy

First thing we noticed was a strong odor of gasoline and air fresheners. We had to unplug 8 or 9 of those and open the windows to avoid migraines. The gasoline smell never did fully go away. Second was the lack of sheets and towels…comforters were on the beds so it looked like the beds were made, but we had to go dig up sheets and towels. Towels we found were a mishmash of leftovers I’d use to dry the dogs on a rainy day, and no washcloths or hand towels. Bring your own if you plan to stay here. Next was the cleanliness issue…cobwebs in a lot of the upper corners, dust and hair on the floors, furniture is dusty, ceiling fans were caked with built up dirt, dishwasher was full of dishes…but the absolute worst was the furniture…heavily stained so we had to find blankets to cover it just to be able to sit down, and there was dog urine on the sunroom furniture and the floor. We contacted the owner but there was no remedy while we were there, so pretty gross. And while the location is really beautiful, there are fishermen on what we thought was a private dock out back every night, and with no blinds or curtains on those windows and door, there’s no way to have any sort of privacy while they’re out there. We were expecting a quiet peaceful retreat, but what we got was a dirty disgusting home with literally nowhere comfortable to even sit and enjoy our down time. Would absolutely not recommend this place!!

Loved our stay with 3 kids

The house was a great size and layout for 3 adults and 3 kids (ages 1, 4, 11). It rained the whole weekend but the kids fished off the dock in the rain and swam in the hot tub and it kept them fully entertained. There's tons of perch and even some cat fish and it's easy fishing. Had a hiccup with warming up the hot tub but the owner was quick to respond and help. It might've been our mistake anyways once we realized that the + and - temp buttons do not show the adjustment - you just have to hit + the number of times that you want the temp to increase and then wait for a few hours and you'll gradually see the temp climbing. House was clean and decently stocked. Might need to get some more utensils and wash cloths but there was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent. We will definitely try to come back in nicer weather so the kids can visit one of the little local beaches too. We came to perryville to go to the great wolf lodge for a day but the kids said they liked staying at the house fishing and swimming more.

Beautiful Property, right on the water. We saw multiple types of birds including Bald Eagles and Ospry. The interior was updated, new floors and kitchen counters. Plenty of space for 6 adults. Hot tub was a great addition, clean and HOT! Will definitely return.

Great location and beautiful house!

Perfect spot to enjoy spending time with friends and family right on the water. The newly renovated home is your full and the open concept works great with a big group. The tiki bar could use a little repairs along with the ladder, going down to the water, but those are minor things. Everything is great and a great time!!
