« Following a warm welcome by the staff, we were taken to our room which included all necessities for an overnight stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and sufficient to last most of the day. The pub is located in a small quiet village with a walk to the River Avon close by. Thanks to all staff who made our stay good. We will be back. »

« Cabin on the water was lovely & the balcony a great feature although needed an umbrella & seat cushions. Unfortunately the bar & terrace area was taken over by a golf presentation so a little disappointing as very limited free seating & early closing for bar & food provision. Huge stain on the bedroom carpet, bathroom door hard to close & a very noisy toilet seat! Plenty of parking & a quiet night’s sleep. It was close to our planned event but wouldn’t stay again. »

« The grounds and the hotel were absolutely stunning! We were delighted with our bedroom suite. The hotel can boast an interesting history; on the wall in the restaurant is a wooden plaque, with a gilded list of previous head girls from 1937 when the hotel was run as a school. The beautiful stained glass windows on the staircase are evidence of the previous importance of the building.
